On this small knife the thumb stud takes a little practice, but it becomes second nature pretty quick. The Q-Tac1 is probably small enough that Queen should have went with a nail nick instead. Thumb stud is probably much more at home on the larger Q-Tac2. Hopefully someone that's handled one will ch...

I don't have a hosting site so that's out, but most of us around here are familiar with the many variations of Spyderco's Horn collabs. There's been a bunch and my photos are missing the most important ones anyhow. Queen's link for Q-Tac line is here: http://www.queencutlery.com/Q-TAC_Handmade_Tatic...

Queen Q-tac (Jess Horn design)
Queen Cutlery has a new series and they're claiming it the first "tactical" design in their storied history. It was designed by Jess Horn and is available in two sizes. I recently scored the smaller one and took a couple of ipad snapshots alongside some close Spyderco kin. Top to bottom is...

I quit five months ago. Used SmokeAway for five days, then willpower and prayer. Went thru lots of cravings and uncomfortable withdrawl effects. Its been a rocky road but gets better all the time. The motivation to STAY off cigarettes comes from not wanting to redo struggles of the past five months...

Just got an old school Endura (fully serrated) in the mail today. Very slightly used but seemingly carried a lot. The clip shows a bunch of wear. Love these things, and this was quite a find. I really wish I could find some of these first gen Enduras new in box. But I suppose being a work oriented k...

Guys, seriously... You need to look at a vitamin D supplement. Go to your local health food store (or even Walmart) and look into a liquid form of D, or gelcaps. Liquid is better. Eyedropper form. Each drop contains 100 IU so you can control your dosage. During the winter months a lot of us are vitD...

Mine hasn't left my pocket since it arrived. A user for sure. Love that lock. And it doesn't weigh my pocket down like the full titanium version. Each generation of the Mil gets a little bit better. One of my favorite models. I'd love to see a Seki version with damascus blade and burgundy micarta fr...

By leaps and bounds, my fav Spydie (of all time) is the Waved Endura with full flat grind by Tom Krein. What a savage cutter! Yikes. So simple to touch back up to lazer sharpness. Slices like it's got some kind of lubricant on the blade. Man, what a knife. It has displaced, well, EVERY OTHER KNIFE i...

If you put that Q up on the bay with a 1.00 starting bid on a 7day auction, you're looking at getting a fair price. If you don't have a lot of recurring sales planned, a gold membership over at BF wouldn't be worth the money. Any other knife forum doesn't really have the traffic you're after. I'd go...
