Yes! But build an auto knife mini factory in a semi trailer to make them in every auto friendly state in the lower 48.

Re: Death Penalty/Capital Punishment: Does it work as a deterrant to violent crime and murder?
Dead premeditated murders, mass killers and sexual perverts have a 0.0% recidividsm rate. Criminals are aware of the penalties for their crimes. Why else would drug dealers employ juveniles to carry out their crimes because if caught they receive less punishment than an adult. Another example occurr...

Re: "Talkin' Story"
When working on a government site, 3" blade limitation, I carried a Spyderco Tasman with yellow scales. One day a coworker was trying to open a box of printer paper. I took out the Tasman and cut the plastic bands. She remarked, "Those wicked teeth on the blade are scary it but cut really ...

Re: EBay
Bravo! I hope Spyderco preveils.
While it is a tough problem for eBay, it's not like they haven't had the fakes pointed out time after time. Some of the common and obvious fakes could have been controlled by the picture alone.

That would do it for me.Evil D wrote:Autonomy, plain edge, don't care if it's satin or DLC, in VG10 or better, and you've got yourself a sale. I promise. I'm completely ok with black G10 but solid slabs of carbon fiber tend to make me weak in the wallet area.

Re: Ear Protection
I use a combination of foamier plugs made by Gateway and amplified ear muffs from Howard Leight. With the combination I can hear range commands and shoot alongside of most shooters. I say most because there are some rifles/pistols with exceedingly rude muzzle devices. When they are being fired I tak...

Re: Driving/Traffic rant
How about a posted lane closure in 1 mile and the entitled or special drivers that pass car after car that are waiting in line to cut in at the very end and slow everyone down? I agree with these other rants as well. Cell phone gears are going to kill a lot of people. Hence my favorite bumper sticke...

They are very well made and hard firing autos. ProTech's owner, Dave Wattenberg and his Father are fine folks.

Re: To Honor?
That is a great idea and "The Deacon" is a great name for a knife. Scale inserts and a wood sided Stretch sound like two important design suggestions. I would defer to a professional for the actual design. A camel is a fine animal, but it is what a horse would be if designed by a committe...

Re: To Honor?
For the love of God, no Boye Dent on the Deacon model ! Since anything is possible in world of ideas, the handles should be modular, with at least 3 different handles materials that can be easily switched out. One would a steel for acid etching, or engraving; one would be a bone; and one would be a...

Re: Purpose of a Business?
If a business doesn't make enough money, then all the other reasons will be irrelevant... Chuck I hear you loud and clear. It will only last as long as they can talk investors/banks into investing, until the lottery money runs out, they can no longer get grants from the government or their inherita...

Re: Glock Story
I also found a Glock 42 .380 that also shoots well for me, though it refuses to do so for my wife. For her it stovepipes almost every round, but she has no problems at all with several .45 ACP pistols that she shoots well and none with her Ruger LC9s. I think the light weight 42 needs to be held mo...

Re: Glock Story
I shot a 9mm Glock at a manufacture's near Houston, Tx back in the 80's. It shot quite well with the low bore axis, but I was a 1911 shooter. Years later I tried a Glock in .45 ACP, I just didn't care for the large grip and it didn't shoot well for me. A couple of years ago I got a great deal on a G...

Re: Purpose of a Business?
I don't think I'm going to sound very idealistic in my view of this, but here goes. The way I see it, the purpose of a business is to make money or profit. Period. If you aren't making money then operating the business is a massive waste of effort. Now, if along the way to creating profits you can ...
