As far as a name, the obvious choice that comes to my mind is “Brave”.

Has there been any talk about a mid-sized Native, along the lines of the Endela? I love my Native Chief, but the blade is a little long for many tasks. A blade length between the original and Chief could be a real EDC sweet spot.

I’d love to see Spyderco do a Phil Wilson design, like the Sprig, in MagnaCut. Has Phil ever designed and/or built a folder? A Spyderco/Phil Wilson folder in MagnaCut would be pretty amazing.

I would definitely be interested in a sprint run or exclusive in 20CV.

My HAP40 Stretch 1 is keeping the pocket space waiting for the K390 warm

Interesting…I never noticed that the Endela has jimping on the scales, but the Stretch doesn’t.

Mine is on its way. Who else has one coming (or already has it)?

After living with my 20CV Kapara for a while, I would be very happy to see an Ikuchi in this steel. MagnaCut would probably be the ultimate, but that doesn’t seem likely anytime soon.

I have both. I really like the Police, but I would definitely take the Chief, if I had to choose between them. The Chief is a wonderful, classic Sal design, a sprint run, and, I’m not sure if we’ll be seeing any more REX45 from Spyderco.

The Endura K390 SE was in Reveal 7, along with the Delica and Endela. Hopefully they will be out soon.

You mean the SE? The PE was in Reveal 7.

Looks to me like they’re introducing standard VG10 versions of the Delica/Endura family et al in SE AND FFG?

I really liking this steel on my DLT exclusive Kapara. IME it holds a fine edge much longer than S30V, which suits a light duty EDC like the Kapara very well.

Please share your experience with, and thoughts on, this steel.

We know there will be a mule, but, after that, which model do you think will be released first? Not the one you want, but which do you think is the most likely?

Has anyone else noticed that the Endela has a more leaf shaped edge, similar to the Manix 2 and Caly 3/3.5, than the Delica or Endura? As a fan of leaf shaped blades, I think this is part of the Endela’s appeal for me, even though I generally prefer :spyder: s with finger choils.

I’m pretty well set with the SPY27 I got recently, but non-coated Cruwear or 4V might tempt me. I'm also hoping the Sage 5 LW will start coming out in other steels/colors, so I'll have an excuse to get one for comparison

I got my K390 Endela basically just to try the steel. I prefer :spyder: s with finger choils, but I have to admit it’s really growing on me. We'll have to see if it gets much pocket time after the K390 SS Stretch drops.

I'm looking for a left-handed sheath for my Sustain. Anyone know of a good source?

That makes some sense. It would be interesting to get the official word from Spyderco, assuming it’s not proprietary info. On a knife like the Lil’ Native, for instance, it would seem to make sense to go < 3mm.
