Welcome to the forum. If "spyderedge" is spydercos claim to fame and/or a driving factor for its popularity, I'd like to have one just to have one. However, if it's not necessarily something that spyderco has revolutionized or is their claim to fame, I might as well just get a plain edge. ...

It's the most versatile hawkbill blade I've used yet. Use it for anything except stabbing.

With a different handle material and a fancy steel? That'd be cool.

A leaf blade would be cool, but the superwharnie idea has me thinking of a big chunky D'Allara Rescue blade on a SuperHawk handle. At that point, bladesteel would be irrelevant.

If you have any question, please contact me. First of all, let me say that I really like your work. But my question is about the stock scales that you take off the knife when you modify it. Do you throw them away? Give them away? Sell them? Is there any way I can buy some of the old scales from you...

I found the Manix 2 to have a noticeably thinner handle compared with the mini Manix. I think it's more comfortable.

I have this grudge against the Dodo and the Lil Temp because they are supremely excellent knives in every aspect except ergonomics. My hand is about a millimeter too narrow for the grip, and it throws off the feel of the whole knife for me. Talk about a tragedy.

Okay, this is interesting now. It wouldn't be a daily user, so I suppose I would be buying more for the collecter's interest and as a bit of a "show pony" I'll see if I can talk them down a bit anyway.

Trials bike. Low speed rock hopping/climbing. Takes a ton of control.

Jot Singh Khalsa price question

Hey folks Ran across an unused, serrated CC Jot in a local knife store, and I'm wondering what the general concensus is on a good price for it. If it recall, they were selling it for around $130. It seems high to me, but this store is known for overpricing their goods, and I may be able to talk them...

Yea, the CPF marketplace really is the best. Don't stay too long, though. Buy what you need and get out fast before other items catch your interest. *Edit* Case in point: This thread reminds me of the CPFM, so like an idiot I take a look, "just to see what's there." And now I may end up wi...

I'm pretty much with JimP on this one. S90v would be sweet and all, but I like S30v fine enough to pay $100-$120 for this fictional Manix 2.

Hey, as long as it still sharpens, I call it a success. I like the way it looks, almost like a patina. Back when Mac-Tech was doing his salt spray tests, we all pretty much agreed that H1 was good to go unless you subjected it to concentrated corrosives other than NaCl. I believe the two most mentio...
