They are okay. That's about it. Pretty. Build quality is OK, cuts OK, pretty good value for money.

As liner locks go, the Military is the ultimate expression - the liner lock concept at it's most refined.

It's very good.

I'd go with the Calypso, simply because it cuts better than the Native, and it's more of a rare beast than the Natives.

But any of those knives are good however.

The steel differences between the Natives is negligible IMO - the more important differences would be in ergo's and looks.

Whilst I don't want to get into whether or not the war was legal or whatever and I can fully understand Spain's reaction in voting out the govt in the wake of this terrible tragedy - I have to agree with Ron that Spain deciding so quick to pull it's troops is a victory for the terrorists. I wish you...

April.

I think it's made available to UK distributors only - Although I'm sure people outside the UK will find a way of getting them too.

Can't wait.

Did you get a pic of the Spearpoint Chinook?

So much cool stuff!

Hi Vox Which one? I don't have a large Sebbie only small ones. The SNG is about the same size as a Large Sebenza and the Lil'Temp is a bit shorter than both I think. Both will cut better than a Sebenza. Neither will be as well made, although the Lil'Temp is considerably better finished than the SNG....

Thanks for the typically eloquent and thought provoking post Sal. Personally I think it is human nature to 'lift' (hey can we just say 'copy') design innovation. It always has been, from food recipes, to clothing, steam engines, to PC operating systems etc throughout history. Sometimes it's not a ba...

Best to handle one Ted before you buy if you can, because quality can vary.

The Lil'Temp is at least as good as a SNG IMO.

Thanks guys. It's been a long time since I was this impressed by a folder. Is the G10 on the Paramilitary going to be as thick as on the Lil' Temp? Is the Lil' Temp underestimated in your opinions? You often hear dicussions of tough, strong folders and it rarely gets a mention. Personally, I think t...

Paramillie v Lil Temp thickness?

Does anyone know if the Paramilitary will be thicker, thinner or the same as the Lil'Temperance? I just picked up a Lil'T and am simply staggered by this folder. If you haven't got one already, and are looking for a super tough, heavy duty, beautifully made, lazer cutting, robocop of a folder then d...

The Ti Salsa is excellent quality, strong lock and a great slicer ( it's length and 'stubbyiness' imposing limitations naturally).

The Albion (which I'm not sure will be the final name) was designed for the UK market, as a legal carry - hence the no lock. As far as I know it's a 'refined' Calypso, full flat grind, leaf blade, G10 scales with deep carry wire clip. ETA? A few months. See www.britishblades.com and do a search for ...

Cricket or Salsa out of your list. Wait for the Navigator 2 rather than get the Meercat.

I would like to proffer the Calypso Jr for your consideration. It is, as a cutter, a star amongst stars.
