Re: Next SE Sprint Run Desired?
Cambertree, Have you tried a Cruwear SE??? I had asked in a separate thread if people thought it would perform well? Based off what I’ve gathered from the sharpening community here, a tough steel that’s easy to sharpen makes for a good SE knife. That should make Cruwear good? Hamilton Hey Hamilton ...

Re: New Double Sided CBN Benchstone
Could you use this to thin out an edge on a knife, say at 10 degrees per side, then set a microbevel on the Sharpmaker at 15 degrees per side? Hamilton Sure. That’s basically how I sharpen most of my utility folders and fixed blade knives these days. It has the advantage of being very easy and quic...

Re: Please Pardon the shameful sales pitch - Rock Jumper
Same Same but different. I own the Delica wharncliffe so probably will not be getting a rock jumper as the knives are very similar. Am I missing something or are they similar enough to have one or the other. Depends on how well the Delica fits your hand, and how important it is for you to not have ...

Re: Community Sharpening Journal
10 DPS with 15 DPS microbevel? Just guessing. Can LC200n comfortably support such acuity? Still anxiously awaiting your experience and review of the Siren. I won't bore anyone with the details but I had some things to take care of during this week and last. I've started writing my Siren review and ...

Re: Give The Spyderedge A Chance Thread
FFG Delica and Millie. I would kill for a CPM-Cruwear Millie in spyderedge. YES TO CRUWEAR!!! At least, in theory. I have LOVED my Manix 2 in Cruwear and also my Pac Salt 1 SE H1. But the Cruwear sharpens like a dream on the Sharpmaker. So I wondered how Cruwear would do in SE. I was actually conte...

Re: Shaman Z-Wear news?
How big will the run be is what I wonder. Didn't they say double a normal run? Isn't a normal run 1,200 pieces? So I'm assuming 2,400??? Hamilton They should have done this one as a production model. Or maybe they are going to do another combo like OD Green Micarta + Cruwear or Denim Micarta + 3V o...

Hi Red, Same to you. To me, it is a time for appreciation. I don't want to be political. But even the protesters should be glad they're not in Hong King. America is a very special place and the only country in the world that was built on an idea. sal LOVE IT!!! HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY! To quote Jock...

Just finished this last night - 3" blade, 4" handle. Widened the cutout, and added a thumbramp to it. Clip is modified from a Lum Chinese folder. Then stonewashed/oxi-darkened and flame ano'd the clip/hardware. https://i.imgur.com/UB1Bdcd.jpg https://i.imgur.com/cBddzcj.jpg https://i.imgu...

Check out BHQ’s YoutTube video today with Eric Glesser and the Summer Reveal. At the very end of the video Zach asked Eric what he was carrying today. Low and behold it is the coveted Micarta Shaman in Z-Wear!!! So maybe it’s close???

Very interesting! I don't want to buy one, but kuddos to making it happen! With their great ability to market in combination with loyal Spyderco fans makes me think this should sell well.
