I suddenly pictured a trombone, sprayed coyote tan, with a bunch of RIS with lasers, torches and a vertical grip.....For those engaugements where you need to play a downward "Wa-wah-WaaaaAAaaah" comedy note :D

I'm really keen on the Battlestation too....My 'spideysense' tells me this is going to be one of those 'Here today, gone tomorrow, kick yourself if you missed it' Spydies. As to the OP's question about Tanto knives in general- yep, some have chisel grind, some have saber grind. Some have microbevel ...

Mmm. This is purely qualitative rather than quantitive.

I'd say- in my collection- my Police SS. Opens like it's running on greased needle-roller bearings.
Honorable mention to the Manix 2 and D'Alarras which are very slick.

Ah yes. Tactical= Take dross, Paint it black or coyote tan and charge an extra 20% to the mall-ninja types. Rather than look at it from the 'advertising copy writer' perspective of 'tactical' and look rather at the capability of the Spyderco products.....Tell me a Police, Civilian, Military, Szabo (...

I recall an article in The Lancet about 10 years ago (UK Registered Doctor's periodical) exorting the UK Goverment to consider a ban on chefs knives Reasoning: The majority of fatal and serious wounds that are treated in A&E (ER to you Colonial types ;) ) are from 6-7" long kitchen knives w...

It's a tougie, but a nice problem to have- choice is a good thing, and all 3 are great knives. I own a Harpy and a Lil Matriarch. The Reverse S on the Lil is not that pronounced but still very useful- at the tip it is very thin still. The Harpy is very tough in use, and the stainess handle adds nice...

Look at it this way: You know you are doing something right, design wise, when everyone starts copying you.

Then go look at who has copied that LAWKS system. You can count it on the fingers of one head. ;)

I see it as a possible solution to expensive FRN injection molds depending on where printers go. As for the blades themselves, I don't really see how it could be done on a competitive level to current methods. Who knows though? The future frequently surprises us.
