Re: Why does this forum not have a "Like" button?
I'm not opposed to a like button. But, I also like the way the forum is laid out and usually when changes like that are implemented, they are in concert with other, more extreme changes. I have stopped frequenting many forums over the years because of "upgraded UIs", that made the sites a ...

pork chop https://files.catbox.moe/h4ksdh.jpg That looks awesome. Mine always come off the grill grey but they taste great! Make sure to dry them off really well before you grill them. If you don't, they won't brown. Ahh, will do that. I always see them look great like Vivi’s and mine always look l...

Re: Spyderco Ulu?
I thought they did but when I went looking all I could find was the Maddox. If you do a google search you'll find threads from the early 00's talking about Spyderco planning on making one and even talks of a prototype. I also remembered seeing a Spyderco patent for a retractable ulu that sounds jus...

Re: Spyderco Ulu?
I bought my wife a ulu years ago. She used it once or twice and now it sits in a dark cabinet somewhere. There is a reason they never really caught on in the wider world. I bought one for my father years ago, with a shallow wooden bowl and he uses it to chop up herbs and stuff. Similar to a mortar ...

Re: can’t get enuff lc200n
i know it’s been brought up in the past, but not for a while now. i’d really love an enuff in lc200n with a clip or leaf blade. please make this happen, spyderco! I have seen quite a bit of praise for this steel, but I've never owned or even used it -- and it's certainly outside my wheelhouse of st...

Re: CQI Shabaria ?
I have always wanted a Shabaria, for the blade shape. I would definitely buy one if it was a compression lock. I wonder how a R.I.L would work on such a thin(short?) grip area. As it stands, I have always considered it. But, the liner lock just doesn't float my boat. Maybe one day. A CBBL would defi...

Re: Blade HQ M4/Jade Rock Lobster
Darn, I missed it! Oh well! Money saved, is money earned. i wish the Lobster well. I have a Para 3 from the series, and am really looking forward to when they decide to release an Ikuchi (or, dare I dream, a Chaparral) in this M4/Jade combo. Good choices. Hoping for a M4/Jade G10 Street Beat myself....

Re: Spyderco Photo of the Week Contest!
My wife deserves a treat. Now, I just have to figure out how and when to surprise her with them. https://i.ibb.co/SxgknY5/20210320-143028.jpg (It may not be a good photo. But, atleast I'll get the ladies' votes. :p) She's a lucky woman! If anyone is lucky, it's me. How I was able to trick her...

I recommend the Caribbean, for a hard use folder.
It's still the only "working" knife, that hasn't left me wanting for something.

Re: H-1 first impressions
I prefer H1 to LC200N, because of the finger printing I've experienced with LC200N. It may dull some while out fishing but I can bring it back to razor sharp quickly with the Sharpmaker. I have heard a lot of reasons for choosing one steel over another. But, this has to be the most eccentric reason...

Re: Knifejoy Exclusive...Slysz Bowie??!!
Are we really still doing this? There IS risk in doing these runs, regardless of popularity. What is the actual market size? Can you quantify it, to an exact number? Absolutely not and that means, RISK ... On top of that, the overall market(beyond knives) is not stable. Anyone that is half way payin...

Re: Watu on a Cutting Board?
One of my joys is food prep with my folding knives (I do keep them clean). I like the Kapara, of course, and the Manix for that. I've been eyeing a Watu, and wonder how it is on a cutting board? I mostly cut vegetables like celery, carrots, onions, and peppers, as well as fruit. I've come to apprec...

Re: Which Itty Bitty?
If you could only have one of the tiny Spydercos, which would you choose and why? Let's define "tiny" as 2" blade and under. I've been eyeballing all the ones I listed. Maybe for a fifth pocket carry, or maybe just to have a little one in the collection. Whatever it is, SE is a must....

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
Not my Micro Dyad... It's MIA. :( And my wife thought I was crazy, buying the same knife, repeatedly... :p Plot twist... It's her knife now Yep! It was definitely her that hid it in between the couch cushions. Definitely wasn't me laying on the couch watching tv, who dropped it out of my pocket... ...
