Thanks!
Does anyone know if these are good, in terms of durability and the holes lining up?

I'm partial to Three Philosophers myself. After a bottle of that, you'll debate anything lol.
Stone is good though.

Re: First impressions: Para 3
MichaelScott, thanks. Yes these are subjective impressions. Also the knife is new to me so surely they will evolve! I used a Delica in comparison because 1- it was the only spyderco i had of similar length, and 2- it is a model of knife many people will be familiar with. I too read / watched many re...

Re: Spyderco’s Polestar & Alcyone should not be in their “VALUE LINEUP”
To be fair I thought they were "overpriced" too compared to the others because I didn't notice the diff steel. I just assumed they cost more because they were new! it would certainly be less of a standout than if it were Cruwear and USA made. What is Cruwear? It sounds like a line of hip h...

Have a kona dawg myself, although i tend to ride my singlespeed more than not. The Kona is one of the few dual suspensions that rides like a hardtail imho. Nice!

Re: Knives going out of stock in Canada?
I am glad I don't live in Canada (though I live in New Jersey which is almost as bad lol) but for those who are, please don't give up, this crap should be stopped. Yeah, I can see why you would be glad not to live here. http://i850.photobucket.com/albums/ab70/DonovanJJ/Spyderco/BE6DC21B-9D80...

Re: Knives going out of stock in Canada?
This is ridiculous. They can get drugs and who knows what across the border but law abiding citizens wanting knives are getting screwed? Re: non-knife people with great knives
I actually have this happen with Watches all the time too being as I used to be really into them. I remember some guy came into the shop once with a frickin sea dweller, and when I told him how cool it was to see one in person he was like "uh, it was a gift". It's a free country, but when ...

Re: non-knife people with great knives
Funny I've always been a "knife guy" (i.e., carried and appreciated knives) but up until about a year ago I never owned a high quality one. I just couldn't see spending the money when cheaper knives seemed to work fine. When I got my first "good" knife (Benchmade North Fork) it w...

First impressions: Para 3
A lot of you probably have one. A lot are probably considering it. Here's what I think of it -- as a new owner. Initial impressions: Spyderco Para 3 https://i.imgur.com/j8Qtesh.jpg So I got this kind of by accident, I walked into the local knife store debating a Delica Wharncliffe or a Native5 LW. I...
