I ended up sending it back to Spyderco and asked them to take a look and fix it for me. They chose to instead send me a replacement and I must say it is smooth as butter. Thanks Spyderco for taking good care of me!

If size matters then you chose correctly. I would have gone with Nishijin Dragonfly but I like small knives.

diesel79, welcome to the forum. You have a nice start to your collection, as you say you like a larger blade. I would recommend one of your next purchases be a smaller gentlemans knife for when you are all dressed up and need something to just drop into or clip onto your pocket that just disappears....

I thought that a lesser steel like S30V (which is still a great steel) would bring the price point down to where more people could afford the knife. I'm 2/3 of the way there. I have both Chaparral and Delica 4 (blue). Techno is next on my radar right after Leaf Storm. I think it depends on OP's type of edc.
