I'm a big fan of Photons ( always have one on a neck chain . On the keychain , ya cant beat the ARC AAA-P for bullitproof simplicity . The new Streamlite AAA single cell Stylus Pro is a super little lite . Remarkable performance - moderate price !

The recent production HAK's are OK . I dont think I would have anything to do with anything "custom " . There seems to be some missrepresentation happening . They may be trying to sell off old stock customs . Just know that whoever ground it was prolly never paid for it , kinda like blood ...

My not too sage counsel would be a Military , Paramilitary , or an Endura of some flavor . The Millie is a classic , a joy to use , and cuts like a deamon , ergo it would be my #1 choice . If you want a knife to use round NKP's , stick with a red handled Victorinox SAK - peeps the world over see the...

I like the ZT 200 better than the 301-302 . Im not a fan of assisted openers . Keep it KISS for me , gadgets have a habit of letting you down at the worst possible times !

No argument about ZT value . I think the ZT200 is the best of that breed . I'm not over keen on assisted openers . I thought about removing the assisted stuff from my ZT301 , and getting some functional thumbstuds .

All the above said , given my choice , I would still prefer my Striders .

Tony , I would recommend either a Photon ( cheaper than dirt ) or an ARC-AAA-P ( simple an bulletproof ) . Fenix is not in the same time zone reliability and build quality wise ! Ill prolly get flamed , but so be it .

No offence , I love both the Millie and my Striders . The Millie will not take even a part of the S### kicking you can lay on an SNG or SMF , or even a PT . I have a high opinion of both the ZT 200 an 30- family , great bang for the buck . Im not totally retarded , but , I would still prefer the SNG...

I like em both , the FRN Dragonfly is a great little flea weight EDC . The Lava is a much superior piece of engineering . The Dfly is a superb shirt pocket carry , or backup . The Lava has to be felt to be believed !

Fenix, like nearly all flashlight companies, measures their lumens at the emitter. Instead of out the front. I've heard, but cannot confirm, that Novatac measures their lumens where it counts.... out the front. Emitter lumens will always be higher than those measured out the front. (Out the front =...
