Thank you Paul and David for the suggestions.
Does it mean if I strip it off using the dye remover from RIT will it restore it to the original scale color?
What if I dye it again to yellow without removing the existing coat?

Best way of restoring dyed FRCP scales
Hello guys, I just recently won an unused albeit 'personalized' native5-salt from a raffle. I have no issues so far about it except I wanted the stock hi-viz yellow scales back instead of the indigo coating. Is there a safe way of removing this dye/paint? tia
