Re: yet another "price increase"
Being able to afford a good knife is not even a question ..
like someone said the Cara Cara 2 is about as good a knife you could get at great value.
Ain't nobodys bizness how much I choose to indulge buy/pay...so I don't care what the OP said...
in other words back up.

I'm the kinda guy that has come to respect the Glesser family and appreciate the work they do. That being said... I expect a "Top Notch Quality" no excuses tolerances fit and finish design snafus should be all good, I don't want to hear nothing..make it right!! Then the fair price.. is wha...

Re: Blade-Play Issues: I want your knowledge, please.
Interesting take on positive blade play.. hmmmm I don't Know, I want to get with it..but for now I will just be a little more open minded on slight blade play. I usually only encounter any blade play when I mess with the pivot screw, because I want drop close as much as possible without a wobbly bla...

52100 patina ???
I"m thinking about the Para 3 exclusive CF 52100 ..
I think I would like some forced patina
..is this the best way to resist rust?
..is it possible to get a patina going without taking the knife apart?
appreciate any observation from experienced with use.

Re: Paramilitary 2 question
I use Blue Lube cleanser every once in awhile it cleans and lubricates,
put some in the pivot area let it sit about 10 minutes.
Start flicking the blade open a few times,
you'll see a little black glob of cleanser and dirt come out...just wipe clean.

Re: Something I do not understand about the Chaparral
I have a Chap Ti one my all time favorites and have no problem with the lock...painful!?...I don't get that. The clip I took off within in the first hour I had it, on impulse because the blue Ti looks so good, I didn't want it to be covered with a clip. I usually never mess with clips I like to leav...

Re: Spydiechef vs Kapara
I was wunderin' how did the Spyder makers mark on the blade come out on these? I have 3 Taichung made Spydercos... bought years apart, and the Spyder is always a little messed up (miscued / uneven) the way they engrave it on the blade over there. I thought it was because of the stonewash on the Tech...

I’ve done it with a old nail nick Mnandi my grail I eventually sold it with regret ... And an Olamic Busker It took me a year to get it I sold it in a week no regret. But I replaced those with the Chaparral 3step ti blue and the Native sunburst Ti ...both the Spyderco’s cost about as much as the Bus...

Re: Paramilitary 2 With Wire Clip!
I like wire clips a little better than hour glass,
but the hour glass clip on the PM2 feels like it belongs exactly like it is.
Whenever I try some different clip it completely changes the ergos of the PM2.
Maybe it's just that I'm so use to it afters years.

Re: Flicking backlocks - who does like it? And motivational post
I love back locks maybe my favorite, I can flick easily with my thumb and I have gotten so use to the Spydie drop it just comes very natural to me I don't even think about it. My most enjoyable knives are Titanium back locks such as Chaparral and Native... both very good looking and built to last lo...

Re: CTS XHP
Of course both s35vn and the XHP are very good.
But I just saw some nice looking graphics analyzing steels by all significant factors,
and XHP scored very high end as an all around blade steel.
I have a couple of knives with XHP I think it holds an edge very well.
