Re: Spyderco Ouroboros

Don't have pics of the production version, but here's a couple shots of the solid model that are fairly representative and will hopefully tide you over till the retailers get images:

Re: Spyderco Ouroboros

Design specifics: So as you can probably surmise, I’m a big fan of finger choils, and the Ouroboros takes the finger choil about as far as reasonably allowable. I find the finger choil provides a level of control of the blade that you absolutely cannot get with designs where the only grip afforded i...

Re: Spyderco Ouroboros

Well, it looks like I’m going to call an audible… your enthusiastic and thought provoking responses have made me rethink how I’ll handle this thread. Instead of me just posting a description of the knife design and then handling responses to the questions, I’ll use the answers to your questions as a...

Spyderco Ouroboros

Howdy Spyderco forumities, Just wanted to take this opportunity to formally introduce myself and start a discussion around the Ouroboros knife I designed, which looks to be nearing production. Though I’ve been a forum member for years, mostly just lurking and reading; I haven’t been overly active ot...

I'd like to see a Lum Chinese in superblue steel with damascus bolsters and translucent jade green G10 scales - a bit different from previous versions, but not out of the realm of possibility.

I may be in the minority here, but I'm a big fan of the Lum Chinese folder. It's a classic design, very thin and light... makes it easy to pocket and nice for a "dressier" EDC in a workplace where heavy-use tasks are less frequent. Also, it feels great in the hand once you open your mind t...

Bought one, was very impressed, so I bought another. They are very light, have extremely comfortable ergo's, good fit & finish, and for the price, can't be beat for a medium-small non-locking folder. It's nice to see good G10 and a wire clip on a budget model. I recommend it you're looking for l...
