Re: Laminated CF

yeah... like I said I don't hate the laminate but I definitely like the solid carbon fiber much better. I don't know how much more it would cost for solid CF but there also has to be significant cost to process the lamination. If it was say 10% overall more cost for the knife with solid CF... I thin...

Laminated CF

I avoided Spyderco models with laminated carbon fiber because I thought I wouldn't like it. I broke down and picked up a Dice at a really good price... now that I have it I still don't know. don't really like it ...don't hate it. Can somebody tell me again why does Spyderco choose this method for so...

Re: Flicking backlocks - who does like it? And motivational post

[Thanks for your reply! What you mean by "Titanium backlocks"? Not the material, but the redefined new backlock the Native 5 features? That one is really great and solid, absolutely no blade play on my Native 5 LW (which I cannot say about my Enduras, Stretches and Delica) [/quote] Back-lo...

Re: Hello, why do you guys like Spyderco?

1. The Spyderhole is the best opening mechanism without question 2. Very ergonomic and useful knife designs 3. Reliable and durable knives - I've owned dozens of Spyderco knives and have never had to utilize their warranty/repair (I bought another knife brand recently and had to contact their warra...

Re: Kid who is a knife nerd

I think that most kids who show interest in knives or a catalogue like Spyderco,
are looking at the knife designs and enjoying them,
just like any other art work they may be exposed to ...purely aesthetics.

Re: Done with Zero Tolerance

My ZTs are all well built and I like the newer smaller designs... started with 0900 and now 0450 0808 0456...and the new 0022 on the way. Love my Spydercos but ZT makes some good knives maybe not your thing, but anyone who calls them junk obviously don't know what their talking about. Don't understa...

Re: Blending EDC with Self Defense

I don’t carry a knife with SD intent but the Yojimbo is a good utility knife and feels like it can do some serious damage from any angle if I needed it to!

Re: Poll: Interested in a longer version of the Chaparral while KEEPING it´s thin bladestock??

I don't think anybody likes the Chap more than me I'm a big fan of this model, part of the reason is I love the thin slicey blade. But if your not doing any hard cutting...a longer blade doesn't seem necessary. If you plan on doing some hard cutting you probably need a little thicker blade stock. I...
