Re: Happy Easter!... And your carry today - ?
Forgive me for not whipping out my cell phone to take a picture, but every day for the last year or longer my every day carry has been one or more knives, and always includes a Spyderco Native Chief in S90V.

Re: Martial Arts Experiences Discussion Thread
Where to start? Decent video. I'm uncomfortable following guys like football player Aaron Rogers or Joe Rogan because they are known for drug use or the legalization of drugs. I have my reasons for my position, you do whatever you will with them. I look at Joe Rogan as a one time small player in UF...

Re: Street Bowie sheath dulls edge.
NOPE, not the hard sheaths, these are soft to the touch nylon sheaths and should not dull a knife. I do not even want a plastic liner in the nylon sheath. They generally are not as pretty to look at as a hard plastic/kydex/nylon sheath but I'd wear them under an untucked shirt, horizontally on my b...

Re: Where Artificial Intelligence Is Right Now
I’d like to pose a question to you folks on a message from a company I received. I really wonder if it was a canned AI response. I received an email last year from a well known company about my account. I don’t have an account with this company. They must be aware of bogus accounts being set up usi...

Re: Where Artificial Intelligence Is Right Now
You really need to follow and read software engineer Grady Booch's day to day thoughts regarding AI on Twitter. Grady Booch is world famous for his work in programming. Wikipedia page! He does not think AI will soon be sentient, and dislikes AI development and the current path of throwing more money...

Re: Where Artificial Intelligence Is Right Now
It is amazing the way artificial intelligence has taken off. They are throwing number like $100 billion and $7 trillion for development costs...what the heck! Humanity is punching out in so many different directions it is hard to keep up with the developments. 100% don't die. Get in shape and try to...

If you like FACTS based on research and summarized by AI, and not drivel from the Internet like most AI systems then try Consensus.

Re: Street Bowie sheath dulls edge.
The Spyderco Forums are excellent...and I apologize if any of my prior responses came off harsh. I forget we are not sitting around a campfire having a beer shooting the breeze, and I read what I say many months later and wish I had taken a year of Emily Post's "Friendly Communications and Hap...

Re: What Cell Phone Music or Radio App Do You Really Like?
It's excellent to post alternatives and the reasons why certain apps are better than others. The sites are targeting certain people. So far Pandora and Spotify Premium sound excellent to me for walks and yard work. One of these days I might get back into serious listening using a portable system wit...

Never Do This One Thing in a Fight https://youtu.be/iavVhm1dPcU?si=id2hl2j4OWRd0mPJ Jim He has a point. And as he says, PAY ATTENTION! If I were just 18 to 25, I'd run rather than deal with these people. At 63 that is no longer an option. I suppose things like in this video could happen anywhere bu...

Re: What Cell Phone Music or Radio App Do You Really Like?
Thank you!!!! I'm whining....Tidal is $13/month. I'll eventually try it, but not immediately. Right now every cent goes to knives and health supplements. It probably has the best offering, and highest quality music so it is good to have it installed and I will use it. Spotify and iHeart Radio are gr...

Re: My on going salt steel comparison journal
Back in the late 70's to early 80's I raced 16ft Hobie cats on Lake Michigan. I was in the water every day all Summer for a couple of years but I was not a diver. Years later I started looking at knives and multitools and thought to myself how lucky I was not to die in a boating accident, because wh...
