Re: NFL 2022-2023 Season

I used to wonder why the league doesn’t do anything about the bad officiating but I now realize it’s actually not bad - it’s intentional and setup exactly how they want it. It's really nothing new though. I have seen the refs cheat to help the Packers over the Lions to help them make the playoffs s...

Re: What are you listening to?

Seeing the Manfred Mann song reminded me of this one. They did a memorable version of this song also.

Re: How Old Were You When You Began Carrying?

I was about 7 or so. I was sick of having to go get the sickle off the garage wall to cut something when doing chores and I knew I could use a knife of my own. Having one had to wait. I found a knife walking through an old site where topsoil was mined and trucked away. It was on the ground forgotten...

Re: 15V & AEB-L Mules On The Way

That's impressive. I thought Yab was the only forumite that had a near complete collection of Mules. (Can't remember...his collection might be complete?) MAN, I wish I'd gotten into mules earlier. I snagged a Cru-Wear early on, and then, like an idiot, thought that was sufficient. Realized too late...

Normally I'd pass on a survey but it is Bolster the old timer. Got to show respect.

Re: 15V & AEB-L Mules On The Way

I'm hoping I can get one of the 15V mules. I haven't had any luck getting one of the folders yet. I have most of the mules still only missing out on 5 or so.

Re: I may Have Gotten Scammed….

Don't panic after a day. I can't agree more. Don't stop payment or put in a claim yet. If you contact the guy and he doesn't answer in a reasonable time then do what is needed. Most people are pretty honest in this world. The chance you ran into a scammer is lower than you might think. Let it work ...

Re: What are you listening to?

Great one Jim. I have seen a bunch of USC Song Girl performances to Tusk over the years too. If I don't enjoy that I'll know I'm a walking dead guy. :)

Re: NFL 2022-2023 Season

Good point and you are probably correct Joe. Joe, What were they saying out there locally about that "Snow Globe" ring around the rosey play. It was the silliest thing I have ever seen on an NFL field that wasn't part of a halftime schedule. I was embarrassed by it and I'm not even a Chief...

Re: What are you listening to?

Great pick ! Love Van Morrison , one artist that I never got to see in the day . Moondance album is one of my all time favorite albums , a masterpiece. Thanks Dan. I never seem to get tired of his music . I can't say that about a lot of the music I heard so many times over the years that I stopped ...

Re: The Last Gun You Bought

Love those things Z1r! I even got to go to armorers school for the K frame S&W's. I carried various model 10, 15, and 65's over my career and there is not much I can't do with them. If something wears out it can be fixed but that is rare. The only guy I know that did used them in competition and...

I don't feel it's my business what others do with their time but I have no use for any of the usual ones.

Re: The Last Gun You Bought

Honestly fellas, there's absolutely nothing wring with using .38 spc +P loads. It's a great round imo Just like those 130gr +P hst rounds you mentioned, Joe. I especially like the 125gr jhp +P in .38spc It's very accurate round with good power. Not nearly as harsh as a .357 magnum I reckon what I'm...

Re: The Last Gun You Bought

Haven't seen those but I use the Buffalo Bore version of the 158 L.S.W.C.H.P. in my LCR. Sometimes the old school loads and bullets worked and still work as well as anything these days. Yep, I keep it simple. Not many loads will expand reliably out of the short bbl. so I go a different way with tho...

Re: The Last Gun You Bought

I'm another Underwood fan. I recently changed over to the 38 sp 150 grain non +P wadcutter load in my titanium 5 shot 38 sp . I had been carrying Federal 130 grain HST +P which is a good load too but I haven't seen any new stuff in a while. Mine are about 3 years old and needed to be cycled so the u...
