Getting a feel for my new Superblue Caly 3. I also just cleaned the blade's ffg portion to let the patina start.

In a different conversation, that hardness quote included the disclaimer, "per Crucible's data sheet" That means that they don't know. 4V can be hardened/tempered in a wide range per the datasheet, so it's not clear how they determined that it's 62.5-64 HRC. https://i.imgur.com/BuFipxv.png

Re: Spyderco Calypso Jr. Sprint Run Knife Gray (Aogami Super Blue)

Knifecenter just received a batch of Calypso Jrs. They charged me just now, but I was only the second person in line waiting. If you ordered on the 8th of December, you might get charged today.

Johnny1801 looks to have started the thread back in 2014, but idk how thread ownership works, if I'm honest... :p

I was just basing my choice on his photo in my last round of judging.

Re: How I removed Manix2 scales from lanyard tube

Tonight I was disassembling a manix2 for a project I am working on, and hit a roadblock with the lanyard tube. I simply could not remove the scales.
