Re: In search of a real kitchen folder
I own two great Spyderco kitchen folders (at least I use them like this): The K2 and the Hundred Pacer. The HP is a little more flexible, good for board cutting (there is room for your fingers), and the tip is thin enough for peeling, etc. And you don't have to worry too much about corrosion. The K2...

Re: Hundred Pacer - my most anticipated of 2017
I LOVE this one ... just about the perfect EDC for me, sits just right in my pockets. So I bought two, one from DLT Trading, and a backup from Knifecenter. Only the backup turns out to be numbered. Just saying :)

Re: Spyderco 2018 Lists: Delivered & Upcoming
Except the Endura4 V-Toku2/SUS310, no larger folder. What's up with all these tiny knives ? No Military or Manix XL in Maxamet ? No Chinook in S110V ? Curious minds want to know ...

Re: Grail discussions!!
Being new to the forum, the grail discussions are still a little hard to follow. Let me explain: - the other day, i was cutting bamboo in our yard. Many, about 10-15 feet long plants, de-leaved them and then made 3 feet long garden sticks out of them. And finally, i used one of them and made a wistl...

Re: My Rotation
I do, Jazz ! And i like them sturdy, don’t see the point of a super blade with a flimsy grip or lock. :)Jazz wrote:Welcome, and I see you like large knives!
Thanks !

Re: For all you 2017 Military fans
Yes. Full Ti and S110V. That's how they supposed to get out of factory. Even better flueted. High end folder par excellence. That's what I thought :) Now, my knives get wet (riding 100 clicks a day, sometimes in the rain). So - I "needed" an M390/204P with a Ti/R.I.L lock as well. Don't g...

Re: Your last purchase in 2017
Two "backups": a second K2 and a second Hundred Pacer. God knows what they'll run for in a year or two, and I couldn't imagine life without them :)

For all you 2017 Military fans
Just sharing, as it took me a little to figure this out. Maybe it helps somebody ... 1) 2017 models have interchangeable blades, including full Ti and half Ti versions. https://photos.smugmug.com/Picture-a-Week/2017/12242017/i-pPZs3HQ/0/0d8a5112/XL/Scales-XL.jpg 2) The XX Harley sheaths on ebay (e.g...

Anti-corrosion surface treatment ?
Newbie question, sorry if it has been asked before. I have a stainless revolver that started rusting when i just looked at it wrong. So it went back to the factory under warranty, where it was bead blasted and the surface re-“passivated”. It came back and - under normal care - now remains looking as...

My Rotation
Hello, new member here, hope you all don't mind my first post being in the Picture Gallery. My name is Roland and it's been 3 days since I bought my last knife. :) Been lurking here for a while and really grateful for all the information in this forum. Anyways, here is my rotation; some are a little...
