Manix 2 for sure, that thing is built tough. The Para may be light but I'll trust the compression lock anyday and although it's a smaller knife the PPT is a tank.

Just be glad you don't live in New York. Tax got jumped again today, they're $.50 a fag here now. That's more than double what I paid for a PACK fifty odd years ago when I started smoking and darn near double what they were selling for when I quit six years ago. Ouch! And I thought they were ...

I no longer have it but mine was a small one blade all steel pocket knife that had a handle shaped like a fish and keychain ring going through the tail. I bought it while on a school trip when I was about nine or so. I wish I knew what happened to it.

To any lovers of single malt scotch I recommend Oban if you can find it. Bulleit as was mentioned is a nice bourbon, not tried Makers Mark yet.

Actually anyone reading this feel free to recommend some whiskys. I'm an Englishman living in the States so maybe there are many I've probably never even heard of.

Jack or Jim?

After years of being a "connoisseur" of Jack Daniels I've recently taken a liking to Jim Beam. So my question to my fellow Spyderholics *hic!* is which do you prefer?

Definitley design snob, as Freeman7 said up there, Spydies don't come in bad steel. I'm not one who gets all exited about the latest super steel, as long as the knife is a good design and the steel is treated well it'll cut things.
