Fixed blades

Many of you have fixed blades I am sure but I am not sure if I can justify having one I am one who does not really collect knives I do have a few but I use them all even the sprint run knives. knife for SD

Is a knife good for self defense or would you suggest something else let say you can't carry a gun. What else would you carry instead of a gun. What kind of things do you have for SD besides a gun. What does not require much training.

I don't own a gun its by choice I do however have my CCWL I mainly got it so I can carry what ever spyderco I want size of blade, fixed, etc. Also in most cases if you have a gun and your attacked would you really have the time to pull it out? It may be a silly question but I do wonder if you would....

Realistically, the only models it really would matter on are the "hot" Sprint Runs, and those are generally fully subscribed months in advance anyway. With the regular production models, it's only a big deal for those who want to be the "first kid on the block", and if Spyderco ...

I've been pondering the idea of getting the TTi with the S30V blade and replacing my dedicated knife altogether. Is the blade on the TTi good enough to do that? (My assumption is automatically "no," but I've gotta ask...) What do and don't you like about it? I would say yes and no it real...

My original C22 never carried or used as new as the day it came from the factory. Wow that one is sweet wish I could get one like that. There was actually one similar to that one selling on ebay. Without all the blue tho. It was at $300 last I looked. Oh here it is http://cgi.ebay.com/Spyderco-Mich...
