Has there been any talk of a forum knife?

I haven't been here for a while other than poking in occasionally. When I first joined and got bit by the :spyder: I was too young to come up with the money to afford any of the forum knives that came out in such a short time period that was required to sign on to receive one. But now, I think I cou...

Why was there never a full SE black Military?

Was there no demand for it? If there was one knife I could have right now, that would be it.

Thank you for the information, the link, and the well wishes. I remember you from when I previously frequented this forum system as well. A lot has changed here. I'm not exactly doing well but I'm trying my best to keep my chin up, and that's about all I can do right now.

How are you doing?

I came back with a question from a long hiatus as well. From my days back when I frequented this forum a lot, I think there was talk that Spyderco can engrave for you. I think you would have to contact Joyce Latuiri (sp?) if my memory serves correctly (and it probably doesn't).

Haven't been around these parts in a while but it's my understanding that it is basically a smaller version of the Police. I would love to get one in both PE and SE in G10. And sign me up for two Police of the same style. :D

That is great. Good job, and congratulations on finishing it. I wish to become a carpenter and make it my career. I am having little to no luck actually finding work to start off though.

Process for sending in for sharpening?

I want to send in a majority of my knives for factory sharpening, and I was wondering the exact process of this. I pay for shipping and handling both ways, correct? Do I have to pay them to sharpen? Do I need purchase receipts or original manufacturer's box?

For someone on a tight budget, what would be the best knife for the money? That site is nice JD, but expensive. But I guess that's what quality costs?

Cho, I was thinking about Kershaw actually.

Anyone know of any good sets, perhaps?

Kitchen Knives

Spyderco or not, what would you ladies and gents recommend as the best quality kitchen knives?

Looking for a chef's knife, a boning knife, a general serrated knife, and a paring knife.

I normally carry my Military. But if I double up and decide to take along a serrated edge as well, my Police rides in my back pocket.

(both on the right side, I'm right handed)

This is pretty cool. If I get it it will be my first forum knife. I've been wanting one for a while, since I've been on this forum for a while (just not always present). I will try my best to get one ordered, just hope that college doesn't suck away all my funds too fast.

My friend is looking to buy a Spyderco but he's left-handed. He's looking at the Native right now. :)

Just be careful, a 4" blade on campus might get a little hairy I'm taking my two SS Police models and the military I just ordered. I'm not really worried about getting into trouble with it though, because I'm not gonna be flashing it around or anything. The college I'm going to (VCU) doesn't r...

Finding a CF PE Police didn't work out. Instead I ordered a PE Military with a black blade. :) It's my first Military. Might be here tomorrow (I chose overnight shipping)

Well, I'm about to go off to college.

I want to buy another Spydie as a sort of graduation gift or whatever to myself but I'm not sure if I'll have enough money. My favorite models are still both of my Police knives (one SE, one PE), for those of you that remember me. I think I might try and hunt down a CF Police, PE or SE. Anyone know ...
