Re: What "Other" is in your pocket???
I'll try to get some pics up, so far the flipping action is good. I mostly role it with my thumb but you can also use your index finger.

Re: The Vrango folder
Michael,
You knife has great lines, I really love the blade shape. I would be interested to hear about your thoughts behind the design and what that process was like. Thanks spyderco for opportunities like this.

Moran in Upgraded Steels
Sal mentioned that Bill Moran wanted to use a premium steel for the Moran fixed blade, VG-10 at the time. Would anyone be interested in a Moran with say K390 or S110V?

I'd love to see one, it makes for a really clean design.
Re: Rice
Consumer reports is the source, the amounts are not large. The primary source is soil. I would also choose rice from outside China and do when I can, primarily because I can't always trust that it is rice.

Re: What's the chance of a K390 sprint?
I think we will see the same Manix, Native treatment as the S110V, probably a PM2 and Military. From Taichung a Mantra in k390 would be appealing. FRN color will be coyote brown

Re: Danish Knife Laws
Thanks gentlemen,
We will actually be exiting the airport to tour a bit. Probably better that I find another way to get the knives back to the US.

Danish Knife Laws
I'm looking to travel with my family back to the US via Denmark this summer. I have a few knives that I want to take a few knives with me. These knives are locking and one hand opening. Is it illegal to posses these knives in luggage? I don't want to break the law but I don't want them confiscated. ...

They should call them "gateway" knives. I started with a dragonfly. I thought I could stop. I thought I could say no.
Re: Rice
How you cook the rice makes a huge difference. http://www.nature.com/news/simple-cooking-methods-flush-arsenic-out-of-rice-1.18034" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; I saw the rice from Texas has far higher arsenic than others. My favorite rice is sticky rice but I also have re...

Re: Been away for a while, wanted to start collecting new Spydercos, but the prices??
There is still a lot of value in the native series, delica and endura line ups. You are looking at the high end with the Nirvana, a great knife as Surfgringo said but don't overlook the value throughout the rest of the line up. A sports car and a pickup are made for different purposes and price poin...

Re: Butcher blade tip and bones
Which mule? I have used my S110V mule to process game and the only damage I have seen is some very slight tip damage from hitting bone just like you. It has always been easy to sharpen out though. What size animals are you processing? I find the mule to be a great size for deer but kind of small fo...

Butcher blade tip and bones
I use my mule to process meat but have noticed a bit of tip damage when I'm separating the hip and working to pop through vertebrae. Not much just a bit. I really wish the mule had another inch or two of reach and am looking forward to the sprig but was wondering about tip profile on it and the Sout...
