Thanks for the info guys! I really don't care about looks, so as long as it's tough, holds an edge and feels good in my hand. I might now get one AFTER I obtain a spyderfly. On another note; How long have you had that USP Zerrexer? A friend of mine bought a used 9mm USP three years ago and hasn't ex...

Opionions on the Buck/Strider folders
I almost hate to ask this here, but I can't seem to get bladeforums to work for me. Has anyone handled any of the Buck/Strider colaborations? I am refering specifically to the "Tarani" Is it as tough as it looks? How about blade & linerlock thickness? The website doesn't list the dimen...

Stuff luke this makes me love Spyderco even more. The fact that someone can submit a knife to ANY knif company and have it considered is just awesome. Spyderco goes the extra step and actually makes a prototype, takes it to shows and seeks public opinion. I feel an interesting saga unfolding. Best o...

I go wheeling! I just got an Isuzu trooper from a friend that built it up a little, and it completly schools my old blazer. My blazer was even more highly modded with 35's VS 33's on the 'zuzu. Other than that, I love hiking, shooting, and sometimes I can combine all three. Drinking Is fun too, but ...

I use militec for everything. So far I have it in my car's engine and gearbox, my drill press, all my knives, my P99, and just about anything that is both metal and needs to be slippery. I can honestly feel extra power from my 'zuzu, and it really smoothed out the trigger pull on my P99. Try the Hea...

Yeah it would definetly be the geeky fun factor of putting one of my cheapie OTF's up to an empty soda can and firing the blade. Other than that, Auto's are always slower from pocket to open no matter what. Maybe a Psychic auto knife would be the solution! Think about it! A thug goes to pop open his...

This is honestly a tough one. I'd have to give the nod to Spyderco just for the exclusive use of premium steel (S30V, VG-10, ATS-55/34 H1) I see no spydies with less than some sort of magic metal for a blade. Spyderco's designs are more rugged and simple, which are excellent assets as far as I'm con...
