I just gotta throw my pennies in. I have had limited experience with some of the newer locks, and zero experience with the ball lock. but here are a few impressions. Axis lock: My favorite, hands down. My Benchmade 805 goes through punishment everyday; Lots of lightning fast openings and the stabing...

I'm sitting here, pondering my spyderfly, wondering if it's possible to adapt a latch onto it to keep it closed. It obviously couldn't involve the origional, being as it's too short. I realy don't see any way to do this with out a bit of mill work and complete removal of the old one. I've said this ...

Never could seem to throw a knife correctly. I can make just about anything else stick though, screwdrivers, hatchets, pens (into carboard) but not knives. Perhaps it's a deficiency of some kind.

I admit to having a limited experience with Schrade knives, but all that I have seen seem poorly built with extremely thin blades. But alas, I haven't seen one like the one you have. "My parents dropped acid back in the sevendies in an attempt to "Expand their conciousness" and then t...

Yes, get one, trust me. I would have to say that it is one of the nicer bali's i have handled so far. Very tight, very solid. I might get a second one and a vault to keep it in.

I think i've mentioned this before, but I'd like to see a native with a 4" (give or take) blade. And now that I have had the opportunity to handle a civillan, I think there needs to be a more practical lockback knife in that wonderfull handle. I'd think a police blade would fit in that handle w...

Millitary/Paramilitary carry options??

I would own a paramilitary right now if it weren't for the fact that you can only have it in tip down carry. I was at a knifeshop (Again) and the paramilitary I handled would be a perfect EDC if it weren't for the placement of the pocket clip. Would it be possible to undo the clip and drill new hole...
