Ayoob.. easier to carry. IMO To make the Gunting worth carrying you need to buy a lot more than just the knife. You need a sheath, a drone, the training tapes, and a lot of free time. Well if you plan to learn how to use it that is. If you're just planning to get a box opener then they'll both work ...

What's the hold up?
What's going on with delivery of the new models? My local dealer went to SHOT and ordered a coupla Ronin's (for yours truly) and has already started *****ing about them not coming in. Now I'm a patient person and I don't think it's been an excessive wait up to this point but I am starting to get cur...

I'd like it all available in an easy to swallow pill form that offers instant muscle memory with a nice cherry flavor.. But since that's not going to happen I'll just have to second the notion of more training locations... closer to home as it were Shared Joy is increased, Shared Pain is lessened, -...

Well my current one over here is Shared Joy is increased, Shared pain is decreased. by Spider Robinson it's kinda how I want to live my life. I belive in sharing both joy and pain and it's important to me that my friends know that. the two quotes I'm wearing over at blade forums are We are men of ac...

Not to bug or anything but I'm twitching to get my hands on a SPOT. I'm also interested in the Ronin. Anyone have a ETA?

Waiting paitently
I was checking out the recent news section under new products and the two I'm most interested in, The Ronin and the S.P.O.T aren't available yet. Or at least I'm not seeing them. So Guess the question is, How soon can I put my hands on them? I want a spotty ronin dammit! Some one give me an ETA OK? ...

Perrin Problems
Ok I finally got a Perrin street bowie (the spyder version) And was completely delighted with it until. *insert dramatic music here* I accidentally dropped it from about waist height, it fell onto a wire magazine rack and now has several little dings along the blade. (excuse me whilst I go scream pr...

Mr. Janich, recently I had to drop out of my Arnis class so I've been working on some solo stuff so any new input is always welcome. I've looked at this tape set before but in all honesty the price was always a bit prohibitive. I had to jump on your offer. So now I'm just waiting for them to come in...

I was thinking PDF for either Poision Dart Frog or Personal Defence Folder. You could make it a slimmer blade sort of like the endura but thinner and put a bright, bright neon almost coating on the handle, blue or something of the like, make it grippy too that'd be cool. (thinking I ought to get out...

Well, Mr. Janich I appreciate the deal. (I couldn't pass it up) This will be the first MBC type video I will own. I've never seen any Martial instruction tapes before so I'll be able to give a totally unbiased opinion. ( I think) I'm looking foreward to it and I should have them in within a week or ...

ALright I'll cast my gun vote for Glock as always, personally my duty weapon is an out of the box as is glock mod 22 40.cal. No frills no flairs three magazines a few glazers and an attitude. As far as the ford/other vehicle war goes. I'm an anarchist. I could care less. I really hate cars and as lo...

For me it's all asthetic. Looks alone. Spyderco builds a great knife no other worries. Some models just look better in SS. In my opinion the native is not one of them. For instance the endura or the Police model? There can be no other choice for them but to be handled in SS. The Native in my opinion...

My personal favorite little fixed blade for EDC was the Cold Steel Mini-Tac. (Got staggeringly drunk one night a while back and have yet to find it again) I would also reccomend the Hai Hocho by Cold steel. They are both set up for neck carry and are in my book almost perfect. Another great fixed bl...

Guys, I love the Balisong knife. it seems to me to be an excelent multipurpose weapon. (granted it's illegal) Closed you have all the benifits of an impact weapon like the Kubaton and open it's a really nasty fighter. What I'm really after is some decent schooling with the Bali. I'm tired of seeing ...
