Re: Is the Delica 4 (brand new) typically hard to open and thus requiring it to be broken in ?
Mine was tight enough that it required two hands to open. I loosened the pivot screw ever so slightly and re-lubed it with oil. I also found some frn shavings that came out after loosening. That coincides with bearfacekiller's comment above. Now I can open it with one hand easily.

Re: Knifeworks M4 PM2!!
M4 maintenance is quick and simple. A shot of Breakfree CLP on a rag for example. Wipe the blade down. Shoot some into the pivot area. Just a few seconds each week.
I live in a very humid climate. I have no rust. M4 is quickly becoming another of my favored steels.

My new Gayle Bradley Air. I've had this knife for a month now and it is quite the knife for its size.

Another vote for MPro7 LPX. Also, Breakfree CLP is good stuff too.

Re: Spyderco Autonomy
I sure wished they had something like this back in the seventies when I was in. I used a Gerber Folding Sportsman.

Re: Which flipper?
I voted for the Southard which I own. The steel is premium and the whole knife has a quality feel to it. All the edges and corners are smooth. The flipper action is super smooth. I've had mine since they first came out and the lockup hasn't moved at all. I'm sure the Domino is a great knife on its o...

Re: Goodies from Sal
It sounds like you had no issues with customs. Trying to visualize sharpening with the Goldenstone, it seems it would be awkward when you sharpen the opposite side on the stone. Example, if you are right handed sharpening the right bevel on the left side of the stone. Is there a trick or is it easie...

Re: Are we going to see new LC 200 N?
I wouldn't let the marlin spike on the Tusk keep you from getting the knife. I spent a few years on the oceans with the military and we used marlin spikes to open paint cans mostly. It's a good prying tool
Also I thought LC 200 was rust resistant just like H1?
