Pocket sheaths can carry the same as a clipped knife, especially with a knife as small as the Air. https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8552/30356000306_f4f6ca3179_k.jpg Untitled by Todd Crawford , on Flickr https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8275/29760393443_0629f4ee23_k.jpg Untitled by Todd Crawford , on F...

Re: Who can make a Swick sheath?
An ex employee of mine has a side company manufacturing mostly Concealed carry sheaths for firearms, but has done a few for my Spyderco Fixed blades. I can PM his info to anyone interested. https://farm1.staticflickr.com/425/31672833513_9e22f1e32a_k.jpg Untitled by Todd Crawford , on Flickr https://...

Re: How did ZDP189 go from a stainless steel to carbon steel?
I have subjected my ZDP stretch to very corrosive environments that actually promote a patina (cleaning a deer-hot blood patinas carbon steels very quickly) and have not seen any corrosion whatsoever.

Re: Who here carries a fixed blade in your front pocket, and whatcha got?
Is that an Jumpmaster 2 with the Kydex sheath? Regardless, can you tell me who made that sheath for you, it's beautiful and I want one for my Jumpmaster 2! Its a 20CV Mule team with Custom Contaval Scales made by a member of this forum. The sheath was made by an ex employee of mine that works with ...

Re: Who here carries a fixed blade in your front pocket, and whatcha got?
I tried and I even had a thread about making a custom pocket sheath but I stopped carrying it until I figure it out. It had to be as convenient as a folder and has to be drawn and sheathed easily with one hand, and that's the challenge. I want a sheath that clips to my pocket and stays where I put ...

I carry a small fixed blade often. Re: Dragonfly HB Salt Found!-H1 is Amazing
Happy to hear that your hawkbill came back. Curious to know if you replaced it or had other Dragonflys available while it was missing? I got mine earlier this year to take sailing and I am so impressed with it. I never replaced this exact model after it fell out of my pocket, but I did have a ZDP D...

Dragonfly HB Salt Found!-H1 is Amazing
Last Thanksgiving I was visiting my parents in the Texas Hill Country when my DF2 fell out of my pants at some point. I originally thought that one of the goats we were feeding and taking care of must have eaten it. Well, turns out my Dad was walking along our creek in the backyard this past weekend...

I love my example. It is a perfect specimen. I polished my scales and they came out looking almost like polished micarta.

Re: Cruwear Fixed Blade?
While I like where your head is at with Cruwear, I would rather see Spyderco focus their efforts on putting more Cruwear, 3V, and 4V into their incredible folders like the Military, Native, Native LW, Para 3, Shaman, and Manix Backlock. You can already get a USA-Made Cruwear fixed blade from Bark R...
