Re: Polestar in bd1n?
The Polestar is the most underrated Spyderco ever made. It's a wonderful knife, and should be compared more with the Manix/PM,than with the Tenacious.I think it doesn't sell well because there are too much lock snobs who think the liner lock is a weak lock.It may be,if you use your knife as a weight ...

Re: Polestar in bd1n?
Probably i'm sentimental about liner locks, because my first einhandmesser was a Jules Herbertz i bought in Heilderberg in 2006.I also prefer FRN,but the Polestar's G10 is a joy to handle and the knife is just perfect for my hand.

True but this would be a true wharncliffe and FFG. I much prefer the look of the dragonfly blade to the Kahr blade

Re: Delicafly
I got to thinking how useful the larger handle of the Delica might be on the dragonfly wharncliffe blade. If Spyderco were to make this a model would anyone be interested? Obviously there would have to be design tweaks to make the blade and handle mesh better but the photo gives you an idea of what...

Re: Why no Byrd fixed blades?
Maybe a 8CRMOV knife,in the shape of a Mule, with FRN handles and a byrd eye hole? ;) I would buy a couple, even without a sheath. Wow, pretty cool idea. I like the look of the Byrd hole, but don't like how it feels compared to the round spydie hole when opening a folder. In a fixed blade obviously i...

A Dark Grey Cruwear Endela would be great. Also would love a Foliage Green Saber Ground Combo Edge. And a Toxic Green FFG LC200N Endela Salt. And maybe an Emerson Endela and Endela Wharnie to round out the line... :D Endela Wharnie would be cool. For some reason I don´t like whanie-style on longer ...

Re: A Spyderco "Throwing Pocket Knife".
Hi Spyderman, Yes, the shootings recently are distressing. A tragic waste for sure. Throwing your weapon to your opponent is not really a good choice, as mentioned. Also, throwing folders takes a toll on the lock. My suggestion would be a quality, portable slingshot and a small bag of 1/2" ste...

Re: A Spyderco "Throwing Pocket Knife".
You need to stop watching action movies. No person on this planet would be able to stop a shooter by throwing a knife at him in a real life situation. This is why the soldiers use close to never a knife in combat-they have much better tools. If you want to throw something at the attacker a rock or your...

Re: Where is my Bow River ?
I know you're all anxious but why get upset about it? Do you think Spyderco's forgotten about it? My guess is there's been some issue that they're trying sort out before they deliver it. I'd rather they get it right than send out something below their high standards just to put something in our han...

Any waiting has an apex, after which the interest drops close to nothing.I was sooo eager to get the BR,when i first see it,and now i'm between meh and don't bother.I doubt we will ever see the BR,on the market but at this point i wouldn't buy it anyway. Don't forget your signature quote, spyderwolf...

Re: EDC fixed blade idea
If and when the Bow River will apear, it will be a completely different flavour, and a production Mule made from cheap steel, with scales and sheath,at around 50$ will kill it. Which was exactly my point. Bow River will be an elegant looking knife, Mules look like mules. As for cost. The least expens...
