Re: Military and PM2 exclusives
Congratulations on your new exclusives! Coincidentally, my 204p Military arrived today, as well. Right now, it has to one of the "best buys" in that model selection. VERY well put together. If you are in the market for Military, this one is a "no brainer."

Thanks for the update. Stuff happens; every problem leads to new solutions and the advancement of new knowledge. If it's not one thing it's another...we learn to accept and often like it that way. :spyder:

Re: How do you store your knives?
http://i.imgur.com/SYvXnor.jpg This is what I use. It's inexpensive and easy to store in my gun safe when I'm away. Believe it or not there's 32 knives in that box. I'm getting ready to buy another one because I have enough additiinal knives to fill it. ...is that the Plano Guide Series Two-Tiered ...

Re: Native 5 s90v vs Native 5 s110v vs Sage 5
Hi mashume !...welcome to the Forums. In my opinion you "have your eye" on three of Spyderco's nicest mid-size folders. ALL have the same blade length. ALL will carry about the same, and ALL will handle your every day cutting tasks with ease. If a backlock appeals to you one of the Natives...

Re: A Couple of Millie Exclusives
Congratulations ! VERY nice. If I didn't already have a Military I would look closely at getting one of those. I have a CMP-D2 Millie, and frankly it doesn't get used very much....not that I don't like it, or think the design and execution arn't great. I guess I just end up reaching for something el...

Re: Para 3
I just received the "plain vanilla" Para 3 in S30V. I like it a lot; maybe better than the Sage or Native; I didn't expect that to be the case. Even the clip doesn't bug me, but I tend not to clip my carry folder to my pocket. I just reach in and pull my knife out by the lanyard. I'll try ...

Re: Endura and Rust: Your feedback please.
I've always found VG-10 to be remarkably rust resistant. I've gone swimming many times in fresh water with a Delica in the pocket of my trunks with no ill effects. I once dropped an Endura outside in a pile of leaves one September, and found it the following Spring; except for some surface rust whic...

Re: Do you think the delica is still relevant?
Benchmade had added G-10 variations to regular production Griptilians....I'd like to see Spyderco put some G-10 on the Delica and Endura and make them a regular catalogue item.

Re: Para Military 2, Spyderco’s “Sweet Spot”
Of course I won’t exactly stop. I plan to get a few more Spydercos eventually just because they are cool and I think some would speak to me as well in different ways. I’m following the Sliverax discussion so .... I’m not a collector but passing on a few quality knives to my kids would be a good thi...

Re: Blade Steels..... Does It Really Matter?
To be very honest, blade grind and geometry matter more to me than blade steel. In the mid 1980's I bought a Spyderco G-2 Endura and used it HARD every day at work six days a week. Typically I would just sharpen it on my day off, and it would be good to go for another week. At work, I was cutting......

Re: Blade Magazine knife show Spyderco name tag
I was thinking about making a "screen name" name tag for the Blade magazine show. My thought are listed below, but I'm open. A stainless bug about 1" in diameter with your screen name engraved in bold. On a cord to be worn around the neck during the show? Maybe with a date? This has ...

Re: Gift Knife for Brother: your opinions wanted
Tenacious ...if your brother doesn't have much skill at sharpening probably the Tenacious, Raven 2, or perhaps the Polestar would be a good place to start. All very affordable, easy to sharpen, and reliable peformers. As well, the delica and endura are worth consideration. It's very nice of you to ...

Thanks for the update. I will reiterate that this is my favorite knife that Spyderco makes. I'm with you on that. I bought one several weeks ago and can confirm that all the positive comments and observations reported are very accurate. It's notably well made, and impressively "stout". On...

Re: Look What I Received In The Mail A Couple Days Ago...
Nitpick Items... -I mentioned above that the coating is “nearly” flawless because there are two areas where the tang meets the stop pin, and the black coating is already starting to wear in these areas. But I wouldn’t assume there is anything that can be done to avoid this, so no biggie at all. ......
