Re: Spydercos & Guns

- An anti-kilt-wearing Scot (in Scotland wearing kilts has a tradition, is valuable to many and means something to them) is different to an anti-kilt-wearing Austrian (where no one wants to wear a kilt anyway) Whit ye git against sportin' a kilt. :) Ye dinnae whit ye'r missing, sportin' ...

Re: Spydercos & Guns

I like the new header. Actually; it looks like a very well put together and considered photo. The knife; a Police model of course. (Not a Yojumbo or Pkal.) Safety glasses: A must for a day at the range. You can almost imagine a pair of ear muffs sitting off to the side. Ammo: No nasty hollow points,...

Re: Spyder Classics: The Merlin

So tell me Ol' buddy how do you rate the MERLIN among all the Spyderco Hawkbills??? To be honest; :o I have never really had a use for a hawkbill knife in my daily cutting tasks. Admittedly; some times a hawkbill would handy to have for some jobs. :( So not much experience with them. If I were to p...

Re: Why are so many people concerned with perfect blade centering?

So: :) you walk into a bricks and mortar store You have the money in your pocket, ready to spend the top limit of your knife budget on your dream Spyderco knife. They have several of the model you want in the display case. The person behind the counter hands one to you look at. It looks fine:  ...

Re: Spyder Classics: The C-73 Spyderco IMPALA model

Remember; :D we are talking about Spyderco. Just because we have never heard of a Spyderco model or variation. It doesn’t mean that Sal  hasn’t made one or two; or more of them at some time. What’s why I made no attempt to correct JD on that. Because as soon as I did; :o someone would post up ...

Re: Spydisaster! (U.K.)

Australia has these rules with the GST (goods and services tax). Now these are only my thoughts. If they did not apply this rule to all importers, they would not have been able to get a big company like eBay to abide by these rules. I think they know that getting companies in the USA to comply would...

Re: What did you use your Spyderco for last?

Went down to wash a few dishes in my local creek at sundown, next minute a 5m salty projects out of the water and grabs my whole head in its jaws. Thank god I realised I had my lil Reinhold Rhino on me, which I deployed in the blink of an eye, luckily, as the croc had dragged me under by that stage...

Re: Spyder Classics: The C-29 Cricket model

Being able to open a Spyderco knife one handed is a big part of Spyderco’s appeal to knife users. With Spyderco’s small knives, there is limit to how small you can go and still be able to do that. For me; not overly large hands, but old and battered. The Dragonfly is the smallest that works for me. ...

Re: All Time Great Spyderco Full SE models?

https://imagizer.imageshack.com/v2/800x600q90/924/s4SAGV.jpg Hey Reject is that "Whale Rescue" blade still available? If not when was it in the main line up? I've never been able to get my hands on one of those. I would like to own one even if it's a used one. I've never even seen that model in any...
