Patience is now available at walmart. Right next to the check out line because at this time of year its what you'll need in walmart. That is a beautiful edge I have the 8cr mules and I find that they do get scarey sharp very easy but the steel is definitely prone to rolling in my experiences. So I w...

I'll go in and say CPM S90V it just seems to cut forever even when dull. Its like an unstoppable force of steel. Extremely wear resistant but not so easy to sharpen.

I shaved my whole face once with the dragonfly etched dfly. Under the nose wasn't the cleanest sshave but I don't have really thick facial hair. I've used my cf stretch to shave the sides of my face a few times. I touched up once with the M4 millie and used to use me para to touch up my cheeks a lot...

Well in an earlier post by myself I asked about 440V or as its known now S60V and sal said it was designed to make coal chutes but being high wear resistant helped it transition over to knives

I figured as much then again spyderco does cater to their fan base a lot more than most companies would. They take a lot of chances on sprint runs that's for sure.

My m4 millie was so easy to get scarey sharp but I only went up to dmt fine and then stropped on bare suede then flipped over to smooth leather to finish it. It seems to be holding the razor edge well but I haven't cut much abrasive materials with it yet. Its way. Easier to sharpen than ZDP 189 and ...

S90V knives

Does spyderco have exclusive rights to S90V for production knives. I know a few custom builders work with it and a few higher end semi custom makers do too but no other production company will touch the stuff atleast none that I know of. Did/does spyderco buy up all the S90V as soon as its made or d...

My yellow spyderhawks are holding up pretty well. As mentioned at first they do bleed when worn iwb with sweat but they hold pretty good if they don't get rubbbed on stuff too much

I've used glue to keep annoying cuts closed. You know the ones that catch on stuff or open when you bend stuff. I'm a big user of napkins and pressure. But if its bad I usually steri strip it closed. Maybe cover it with a bandaid

Funny I just realized how close the espada looks to the spyderco persian now if only spyderco made a 5 or 7 inch persian. I'll try the triad lock one day. I personally find the complock one of the safest locks to close because your hand is never in the path of the blade. Its also pretty strong from ...

Gotta love the comments people leave in these threads. Glad to be posting under TOPS. As far as waves go I have both emerson karambits and I usually wear them so they draw in the traditional k grip. I usually hace to twist the knife slightly so the wave catches just right. My friend has the endura w...

I think a leather pouch with a pocket clip should be included to make this knife more edc friendly. Kinda like how some william henry knives come with that pouch. Then you get the best of both worlds

Or more like, we should give him a cake to show us how to defend ourselves with it! This might be a very bad idea. What if the attacker is diabetic this would be utterly devastating. Also the choke hazards involved and I would just hate to see good cake wasted on an attacker. No doubt icing in the ...

I have to agree with mcm. The karambit and gunting were EXTREMELY SHARP out of the box. I don't spin the spyderco karambit too often but my emerson combat karambit caught me in the wrist once. That chisel grind makes for one sharp blade as well. I find the spyderco karambit a little too thin and sha...

I just recently purchased an original FB05S and its a great knife. I love the indexing holes and the handle shape. The bladestock is amazing at 4mm I just wish I could fine a PE model. I might have to get the temperance 2 instead. Micarta can be worked and drilled to add indexing holes.
