If you contact Spyderco, they are going to offer you a brand-spanking new P2 which is generous, but not a D2 P1. I was in the same boat and fixed mine by loosening the stop pin, rotating it 180 and tightening the pin. Voila, no play! Still my favorite Spydie of all time.

Haven't handled the Techno, but between the flippers it's the Southard for me. It is a completely fresh style for Spyderco and it scored for sure. The ergos make it ride the back of the pocket making it unobtrusive as they get. The Domino is very nice and for those that adore the way familiar leaf b...

Not nearly as odd as M4 on the Air!

I've had at least 7 P2s including sprints and right now I have ZERO. I like the knives well enough but with the recent shortages they make great trade bait! I know I'll get another, but like the last couple will wait for the email on a "normal" price. I will say that every since I got a So...

I agree on a pricing error. Love my Spydies, but that knife is more than a full price small Sebenza and swirly marks aren't enough to drive that price!

I've always liked the large handle of both the P1 & P2 (and Millie) Many folks used to gripe about the ratio on the P1s but I think it was more of an aesthetic issue. I also trust the compression lock like no other.

T-Mag - I don't care if you put magnets from Neptune in that knife, it is still a super smooth letter opener. Sorry Ralph.

I got some chipping while cutting zip ties, but only on the initial grind/sharpening. Once I took it to the sharpmaker it held up pretty well. Had the same exact experience with the Sage.

Just have to be diligent in the search. I refused to pay inflated, panic prices and put my email on reputable dealers for notification. I've got one due in 2 days at the "normal" price.

Hey Folks! If there is one thing that I never understood is why since the Sebenza has been around for 20+ years they haven't improved anything about the ergos of the model. I just don't get it. If you don't understand that principle now, you never will. ;) What should a Buck 110 look like by now? T...

Southard. No dainty tip, rock solid lockup, easy deployment, nice belly all the way & great steel.

Thanks for the generous GAW. So far I am liking the 204p alot as it has taken everything I've thrown at and is not too hard to sharpen.

Yes, the deep cut-out allows for a great grip against the flipper when open. There is probably an aesthetic aspect to it also as it allows the Spydie hole to be seen in its entirety. What makes this knife flip well is the nicely done detent and that makes thumb hole opening difficult. My Skyline doe...

Trying to open it with the thumbhole is proving to be harder. I can flick it just fine but a slow deliberate opening is not happening for me. I wish the Spydiehole's edge has a little more bite to it, it seems overly rounded for good traction.. The Southard was designed as a flipper period! Yes, yo...

As long as it does not get unusably dull in a couple day's work I am OK with it. 30 seconds on the paper wheel and most of my spydies are back to shaving sharp!
