Sorry if you misunderstood my thread , I referred that a clunker was a bad issue of the knife fom Spyderco . This can happen from any knife company , lucky we collect here . MG2 Hola Manix, I did not mean it that way, my apologies; I think of a clunker as an old car, still loved and appreciated. I ...

The Superhawk is no clunker; it is strong, smooth and not overly heavy imo. the Sage is a beauty and my only dissapointment is that I had to send them to Spyderco because of tight screws. the knives were absolutely in great shape except they did not want to be lefties. I own 19 Spyders not counting ...

My better half talked to Christina today and and she was told to send both knives to her attention to "nip the problem in the bud". Needless to say, she was very nice and I must add that both the Sage & the Superhawk are exactly what I expected. As a lefty since birth, I must acknowled...

I've been carrying the Lava as an Office EDC since it came out. I sometimes alternate it with a clipless Lava with a Lanyard for deep pocket carry. The Lava is my favorite LBK to date, period (Kopas and Kiwis come close though). Although I think the Lava would be the best candidate for a 'subcompac...

I'm not a sharpening expert but I had a similar situation with an Endura zdp and I went to a coarse dmt stone, then dmt fine and after to the sharpmaker on the grey stones at 15. sometimes a few passes on the fine rods but I think it is best to finsh with the grey stones; by the way I learn this app...

I like the idea of the Navaja. Here is a pic of one I just purchased a few weeks ago. I had uploaded it in the Non Spydie purchases. http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z312/miguelo_conguero/DSCN0325.jpg Muy bonita y afilada navaja, nice music to go with it. The navaja folder will fit Spyderco nicely

Another Sharpening question
Hi,
I'm learning a lot from the forum; the China debate was particularly interesting, not to mention the great suggestions on steels and sharpening PE & SE's
Any good advice on the best way to sharpen Combo Edges?
Thanks
