Mine is the only Spydie I've bought on the secondary market. It is dead center, super smooth, and came extremely sharp (if factory, the sharpest I've seen in a production knife). It does have a little bit of the up and down, but I had to look for it.

Do you only want to buy from Spyderco? They have been easy to find recently.

Executive summary: saves material, reduces weight, looks cool (contrast,) and still plenty strong.

I wonder what I could get for my CPM 154/S90V now that I've sharpened it 3 times and grinded down the spine to recreate the tip. The blue M390 is the only one on the list that I really want. For me, the edge goes to g-10. I'm a big fan of g-10 with recessed liners. I also have a few in frn now and like it more than expected. I especially like the texture used on the UKPK.

IIRC the CF/s110v Native will be peel-ply CF, so grip should be similar to g10. I concur that there are a couple on the bay for around $150, which isn't terrible.
