I just got done using my PE K04 tonight and have to agree with hunter. I don't have large hands but a larger grip would be nice. The thin profile makes it a really nice slicer and it's so light in hand, that prep work seems to go quicker. It is not very large but is perfect as a utility knife. I pre...

The complete collapse of society is not likely to come from an economic collapse. Think of history for a moment. Humans have survived for thousands of years and maintained sophisticated societies without modern technology nor conveniences. Our institutions would adapt despite social unrest because u...

Exactly. Kinda depends on what we're trying to accomplish here. The OP was for a Sprint. In that vein, I support a lock. But as a mule project, mainly to test the steels in EDC carry, UKPK should serve that function well. Ken You've landed in the same opinion as what I am expressing in this thread....

FRN UKPK - Super Steel Sprints
Hi guys. Based on another thread, I decided to put up a poll to gauge interest on the UKPK model. The FRN UKPK is currently made in Golden and offers a lightweight, affordable, non-locking, ergonomic design. Would any of you :spyder: -afi's be interested in UKPK sprint runs that sported American-mad...

+1 to Roman's FFG UKPK mule idea I am a huge fan of the Calypso design and would love to try American supersteels on that platform. Although I prefer locks, a lightweight, FFG UKPK would be a must-buy for me if it sported S90V, 20CP, XHP, etc. For those that may scoff and think that's overkill for a...

I think it has helped me with my seasonal allergies this year. I've been eating a lot more honey throughout the summer and when the fall allergies hit, I recovered a lot faster and they were a lot less severe. Make sure to get local honey and try to eat some everyday (in coffee, tea, cereal, etc.) I...

I have both and I find myself leaning toward the Caly. I like the N5, don't misunderstand, but the additional weight and thickness are not things that I see as EDC benefits. Granted, when I get a tough cutting session coming up (carpet, cardboard, rope, etc.) then I will definitely be choosing the N...
