Hey Tony, that's a nice cobra you have there. Hopefully, I'll be enjoying 32 valves soon. :D After I finish my DOHC swap on my 'bird, I would love for it to be running nearly as quick as yours (if my driving is good enough). David, you got to love those 5.0 notchbacks :D (I had an 86 GT hatch, but ...

Though I also am not a big fan of Benchmade knives with the hole, The Benchmade-Bob Lum colab knife: Dejavoo, is one nice piece... I've got both small and large versions, and these two can compete with any spyderco IMHO. Keep in mind, that i've got maybe 6 Benchmade knives, and over 50 :spyder: :D T...

It would be nice if once in a while Lynn's hype actually came close to being true. The hype is so high, it would only match reality in a Brothers Grimm novel :p even though i love their swords (i own one) and their fixed blades are of VERY high quality (I own a 3 of those). Folders thoug...

:D I'ts great to see all those replies. I actually only mess with Japanese import. I've got a 92 Civic Si - Modified. I put a 1.8 DOHC engine, and dropped a Turbo. Just yesterday i put Carbonfiber Handles. most parts are JDM. Stick (obviously). and overall i'm loving it. even though american muscle ...

Hi MANIXWORLD. These guys use VG-1 and San.Mai.3 on their high end models. I find both steels to take nice highly polished finish, and though they come razor sharp from the factory, I couldn't manage to sharpen any of my San.Mai.3 knives. Edge retention was alright... since it is a weapon, not a use...

Thanks for the replies everyone. The problem i notice the fenix lights get is that in the Q5 models, especially the bigger ones (2D, 3D) the Butt of the knife often gets loosen, due to rotation on the belt while it's in the holster. most people are so preoccupied with the HEAD of the flashlight, The...

I made the CF VERY thin on the frame of the Trance. And though i thought also the liner won't lock as good as before, i was surprised when it locked even a little better than before  but i guess i just got lucky there, most times you will sacrifice tension of liner if inlaying (or putting ON) C...

Fenix

Hi everybody. I was always wondering... why do people in this forum hate Fenix flashlights so much?? I have 4 of them, and they serve me well. my 200 Lumens (maximum) P3D is the brightest flashlight I've seen (for it's size especially). Each of the ones I've got has at least 5 useful functions, and ...

Cold Steel Spectre.

I bought this knife unused for $300 (or so, it was a year back). since then i replaced it 3 times because it didn't open/close smoothly. It still doesn't function smoothly. Very dull from the factory, and i couldn't sharpen it no matter how many times i tried. It is a nice knife to put on the shelf ...

Yep. Just used my dremel, since the millie liners are inlayed into the G-10 from inside - I had a lot of material to work with. And i have jimped the Butt as well. These add a whole lot to retention.

nice real CF, wonder if you could dremel out some of the staineless and then place the CF inside making it flush ? Unfortunately it would be too hard for me :( . But i tried my best to make it look "inlay". the quality of the pictures is extremely bad. These two are BEAUTIFUL in reality; ...

Modified S30V Millie

I polished the G10 side where the clip is for easy withdrawal/insertion into the pocket. I also added jimping on the side of the liners for extra retention. And i also polished part of the clip (to make the bug look like it's eating at the black paint), and added the Centofante 3 Bug. My favorite kn...

I kepp it REAL.

looks like a carbon fiber sticker decal to me Actually i took a whole CF wing of a high end RC helicopter, and using a dremel i grinded myself thin slabs, polishing it and stuff. then i used epoxy to get it to stick to the metal in both knives. Works EXCELLENT!!! even the Boker Trance, could acquir...
