I dont really like SE knives either, however I dont deal with much SE friendly materials so I carry an SE meerkat and an SE ladybug for when I just have to have some nice spyder-edge loving.

I got a g-10 cara cara that I plan on turning into the beater knife, for the price of these knives you just cant beat the quality.

I have no direction, I thought about gettin all the meerkats but I quickly get sidetracked when I find something different. I think the delica line could possibly be just as expensive as others because some of the "grail" delicas go for big money.

I thought i remembered sal saying that they were going to address the hand eating corner on the blade when closed.

last week i got my CF caly3 and just sent payment for a ZDP endura.

PS how is that Materials class, I have to take it next semester

rubber wood actually finishes quite nice and I think it would look really nice as an inlay of a CF scale.

the other day I was messing with my delica bc I just sit here without flicking something, and I dropped it and it hit my flip flop but missed my foot. Not quite as scary as it flying past the boys but I feel your pain.

my vote is for the ZDP caly III but I may be biased, I think the caly III is the nicest EDC knife ever.

so I made a point to smell the scales and the pivot of my new caly 3 CF/ZDP that arrived today and I didnt smell anything??

spend the extra bones and get the carbon fiber, you know you want to.

I like any low-ride wire clip. So far the best ones Ive run across are the caly3 and the meerkat.

I have to be honest Im with lost on this one, I just have never been too fond of the persians. However if someone gave it to me I wouldnt give it back :P

I got a ZDP/CF caly3 that should be here friday. The bad news is I will be going out of town and wont be able to pick it up until monday

Another vote for the caly 3. I have two and just cant get enough of either of em.

you carry your D'fly just like I carry mine. In the back pocket just to have something with teeth on you. However bc of the clips on the dfly I often carry my meerkat instead.

I just got my first D'fly a few weeks ago and that thing is a little monster!! If spyderco did make a nice G10 version of this thing I would buy at least two. It would be the perfect EDC variant, like for me I carry a PE Caly3 and than a SE d'fly. I would love a G10, wire low rider clip, etc. etc.

I would want some sort of firearm maybe not in the bag but something you can take when SHTF. If a handgun is not possible I would look into getting a nice pump action 12 ga. and pack a few shells.
