The otiginal Zytel handled and now FRN handled knives are the Delica. When Spyderco brought out the Delica in stainless steel it was called the Delica II

PS:
I forgot to mention, these boats are used on the ocean 90% of the time, the Colorado river 10% and stored at the side of my home.
So - the knife has had considerable salt water exposure since 1997.

Your discussions got me to wondering --- so I went out to my boat and got my C17PSYL that has been in a boat since 1997. I have never used it - it just stays there for me in case I lose my other knives. This is my first time posting pictures here, I hope it works. If the pictures came through you ca...

Jeff, The above comments are right on -- The old one does not have the definite flex of the new one. However, I prefer the old one. Th new one is probably better for smaller fish like trout, but the old one I like better for all around use. I agree - I don't recommend the fully serrated for a fishin...

I don't know what the problem is/was. We changed domain/host providers, maybe they had a problem. My computer was down today while I upgraded to a Pentium 4 and new motherboard but that should in no way effect our web site. Sorry about that - we'll have to watch it - please let me know if you have m...

joebe, If you were asking me about a plain Calypso, the answer is yes, we have one C54BMP, which is the large Calypso, plain, black micarta. For future reference, if it's listed on our web site, we have it. When we sell the last one we take the item off the site. John Jensen, 619-475-3633, www.johnf...

SouthNarc,
The above replies are all correct regards the C59BM Shabaria. The 50/50 blade model, C59BMPS has been discontinued so if that's the one you want and find it at your favorite dealer - buy it!
We have them on closeout as well.
