The Kiwi (like the Kopa) fits in the gentleman folder category IMO. I love my original Kiwi 1's and 2's for this reason. Mine has it as well. The stop pin isn't really a stop pin for the blade on this one; it seems to function for the internal locking liner. It doesn't rattle when opened due to tension from the liner, so I reckon it's there to keep the it aligned for unlocking without snagging on the non-springy part ...

It's not like I need them in the office, but sometimes you just want a big blade and the XL is a great option for those days!
