Agree. I have a Manix LW and while overall I like it the squared of handle edges are a put off. Almost makes it look "cheap".

I'm most interested in the Para 3. The G10 versions have become my go to models for edc. I rotate between s110v, m4, and maxamet models. Never had a knife in CTS-BD1N. I kind of wish the knife was in something different. I'm certainly no steel expert but I think m4 is my personal current favourite. ...

Para 3 seems to be a successful platform already for different steels.
I'd certainly be in for one.

Not related to grit scale but I would go to the wicked edge forums for tips on stroping with their system. You can get an amazing edge but have to be careful with technique so as not to roll the edge. I think backing the angle setting slightly lower from your stone setting and very light pressure is...

I got notice that mine just got delivered. Another 4 hours of work before I can check it out.

I caved and got one to go with the Maxamet and S110V versions I have. Para 3 is my favourite carry now.

I was going to grab one of these to add to my maxamet and S110v versions but now with the burnt orange / rex45 announced in the midyear I'm not so sure.

I am really liking the Para 3. I own both the S110V and Maxamet versions. I've sold off 3 of the 4 Paramilitary I own now. Seriously considering selling my last one. I have a few Manix which cover off that size of a blade for me.

My three keepers.
Manix S30V hollow grind for work bench heavy use.
Para 3 Maxamet for edc.
Chaparral S30V for dress occasions.

The other 5 or so I usually have are "extras" .

If this was the Para 3 , I would have bought it. I just find myself carrying that version way more now than the Paramilitary.

I love my first Para 3 in Maxamet so I decided to order one in S110V also.

I'm looking to find Spyderco dealers in the Buffalo / Niagara area with a store front . How can I find a listing. The dealer locater on Spyderco's website doesn't seem to be working.

I picked them Para 3 because that and Manix are my two favourite spydies. Para 3 seems to be getting some blade steel variation which is nice. I wish they would stick their Manix Maxamet blade in a G10 version and not just the lightweight.

Nice. I really like this one too. Finding more time in my pocket than any other knife right now.

Changes over time but right now my fav is Manix lightweight in maxamet.
