Of the ones you listed, I selected the Chaparral. It fits my hand nicely, and the thin blade makes it a slicing machine.

Absolutely! Perhaps they could call it the Coastie in honor of US Coast Guard personnel who exercise police authority on American waterways.

Yeah, I used to like the super high vanadium steels for their extreme edge-holding characteristics. But over the last two years or so, I've come around full circle. Now I prefer good mid-grade steels for their ease of sharpening.

I've been hoping for K390 SE ever since I owned a Police 4 G10. Very exciting!
