Re: Spyderco Military 4V DLC St. Nick's Exclusive
I'm still absolutely baffled that Spyderco didn't take this color combo for themselves since it matches their boxes so well. And this is gonna be one of the rare PE purchases for me. Might be the last great Military 1 run. Good observation, Lol I have been thinking of painting the wall behind my ma...

Re: Spyderco 2023 Lists: Delivered & Upcoming
Wow only 725? I think I will pass on this one and not get in someone else way that wants to fight for it. Beautiful knife though great color combination, hard to believe this is making it out before production S30V. Perhaps this bodes well for S30V coming out sooner rather than later? Glad I have my...

Re: CPM 15V PM2
Only way to control the market is to not buy at inflated prices. If you do then you are a part of the problem not part of making things better and or more affordable for all. The way I look at it is if I can't get it for the right price, the fair price which is what DLT sold for, Knife Center sold f...

Re: What you don't like about spyderco knives?
#1. Dislike the Ricassos where the blade has not been ground all the way back I have had this on several models thankfully I can correct that but honestly it should not be a thing to begin with in my book. #2. I really dislike the way Sprint runs are handled and some exclusives as well. That's it ot...

Re: C-60 Ayoob Campaign: No I Won't Shut Up
I do not think there is any reason for concern mine does the same thing. Is it annoying? well yes but it is also typical and not a problem, besides that if it ever did become an issue Spyderco Warranty is second to none I am certain they would fix it. Also I have had other Spyderco knives that do th...

Re: C-60 Ayoob Campaign: No I Won't Shut Up
Is it normal that my C60's lock bar gets pushed in a little when doing a hard cut? I noticed it recently when I was chopping up a box and did a cut while pinching the scales. Doesn't seem like it's enough to unlock itself or anything, but it's got way more play than any of my other seki knives. I b...

Re: C-60 Ayoob Campaign: No I Won't Shut Up
Still loving my Ayoob, guys keep an eye out here https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1025355319 they were supposed to drop some serrated versions today but are reporting Coming Soon and Estimated In-Stock: Overdue To me this means could hit at anytime. I have decided not to get a second one as I just ...

Re: Why is the Kapara so overlooked ?
I enjoy the Kapara, it is up there in one of my favorites. The smooth scales don’t bother me. Seems like the knife locks in your hand when you open it. Doesn’t hurt your pockets and smooth rounded scales make it comfortable to carry. Is your the Carbon Fiber version with S30V? I am considering gett...

Re: ** 15v PM2 Alert Thread **
Price gouging ugh... the ugly face of sprints rears to a new all-time high. I am going to remember these sellers and make it a point not to give them any of my business in the future. I consider these sellers penny wise and pound foolish. Don't think we really need all the drama and trashing of ret...

Re: Why is the Kapara so overlooked ?
It looked like The One on paper for me, but in hand it never felt safe. The slick scales, comp lock, and shallow choil with very little finger guard left me feeling nervous every time I went to use it with my big clumsy hands. I think a slight redesign could make it one of the greats, but until the...

Re: Why is the Kapara so overlooked ?
I was wondering about the CF Scales on the Kapara, I have the DLT Exclusive in 20CV with the grey G10 and it is too slippery with the small CF lock space. This is the only thing that keeps it out of the pocket, a PM 2 kicked it back into the box as I am currently contemplating yet another PM2 this t...

Re: Why is the Kapara so overlooked ?
I have to concentrate more when unlocking the Kapara because of its skinny and relatively slicker scales. Sometimes I feel like I might accidentally drop it while manipulating the compression lock. Thus it gets used less compared to the Yojimbo 2 or Amalgam, for example. Bingo nailed it on the head...

Re: So what's with 15V anyway?
Ah so nearly 20% carbides yeah CBN will work well with this. How is the corrosion on this? I like Cruwear no matter what I cut, Lemons etc... wash wipe and go no patina no rust.

So what's with 15V anyway?
How does it compare to oh lets say Cruwear? All I know is it is supposed to be wear resistant and not stainless but how does it hold up to corrosion compared to oh lets say K390 which I know will patina if you sneeze on it, or lets say or M4 or perhaps 52100 which I know will rust. How is the toughn...
