Are you kidding me?
I just watched an original Spyderco R go for $371.50 on eBay. All I can say is wow. Somebody please tell me I'm dreaming. I estimated that these were valued somewhere between $200-$250, but with the infrequency of which they show up on eBay, I guess all it takes is 2 motivated people and a pile of c...

G-10 over the years...
Hello all, I've been buying Spyderco knives since 1996 or so and am just loving the new models coming out. I have a question about one model from back in the old days, the G-10 Harpy. When I bought this knife back in 1997 (or so), after using it for just a few weeks I remember the G10 handles starte...

Deleted thread? I have a question
Hello all, I see that a thread about where to buy a Lil Temp has gone missing. I (and at least one other forum member) had a post in there that referenced a place to buy it with a link to the site. I am not sure why the thread was deleted, but it's possible this was the reason. As such, I have re-re...

CF? Why?
Hi all,
Not to hi-jack the thread, but can someone tell me (other than looks) what the advantages are of CF on the handles? I've seen several knives done this way and never really known.
Thanks for the info.

Centofante Vesuvius? I have questions, you have answers...
All, After seeing UK-Ken's pictures of this knife, I have definitely added it to my "must get" list. A few questions for those of you in the know: 1 - What is the relation between the Vesuvius (with the blue shell inlay) and the Centofante III? They look the same, but I am not sure. 2 - I ...

Ken, Thanks for the info, but I still need a little clarification. I have seen reference to both the Centofante III AND the Vesuvius. Are these one and the same? Most of the III's I have seen are PE, but this one is CE. Perhaps that is the main difference. And the abalone...was that a standard for t...

I'll add my .02. Bought one of their last Chinese Lum PE folders and it was a very pleasant experience. The knife had some residue (I think it was dried oil or lubricant) that I wasn't sure how to get off, so I sent an email asking about it. John promptly responded and offered to return the knife if...

Thinking about getting a C22 Walker (original)
All, I've been looking at getting one of these for the past year or so, and haven't taken the plunge. That might be changing, and, even though I have an Almite Walker heading my way, I'm still interested in the original. I found an old thread that went into a little detail about these, but wanted to...
