Anyone interested in spyderco sprinting the kitchen line? I would love to buy a K04 and K05 in superbly or Hap40 Not me. I'm perfectly happy with MBS-26 and have zero interest in non-stainless kitchen knives. I assume that the Murray Carter knives will be made in Japan since it uses Super Blue. Dam...

Re: Anyone else here still love the Starmate?
I just wanted to add.. The original MSRP was $156.95, which adjusted for inflation comes to approx $228 in 2015. When you add in the steel was upgraded from 440v to VG10 and the yen dramatically jumped in value from the 90's you can clearly see the cost is actually pretty much the same. Most people...

Re: What's the lowest edge retention steel you'd carry?
I think I have an AUS-6 Jester and a few PE H1 knives. They sharpen up quickly, but for general use I prefer something that lasts a bit longer between touch ups.

Re: Military Thief
Been thinking about a large gun safe. Lots of talk about how they can be defeated with the right tools, but I saw an article about how gun owners tended to keep their valuables during the typical home robbery because of a big heavy gun safe that the casual thieves just can't deal with. It either ma...

Re: I wish spyderco offered deep carry clips
Usually by car, 😂 Construction workers can carry knifes to and from work,, i do.. But you would have problems explaining the need for a knife if you work in an Office. If i'm on my way to or from the Woods i can carry wathever i want in my belt, machetes, axes and knives. But dressed in "norma...

People are way too scared of radiation anyway. Unless one gets huge doses there is little evidence of increased mortality or cancer.

Who's got San old watch from the 70's/80's with glow in the dark hands. Don't stick it next to a Geiger counter, some make them tell you it's not good to wear them. Forgotten what the name of the stuff is. Don’t know, but the Ball watch company uses tritium gas tubes to light their watches. Radioac...
