P4 is a great knife. Mine came extremely sharp as well. I live in a pretty dry climate so rusting is a non issue for me. Pack it everyday and use it for my job. Congrats on yours and can't wait to hear more.

I'm sticking with my Police 4 K390. It's my edc now and I see no reason to change.

Love my Glock pistols! Took me awhile to warm up to them, but when I did it was a revelation. My G19 is my current carry gun and it's great. Reliable and accurate.

I'm into knives and believe Bob Loveless was one of the greatest designers ever. There are definitely others but most come after Loveless. His knives are some of the most sought out knives in the world.

I prefer larger blades and have been packing the P4. Fortunately where I live and what I do this is no problem. This is an easy knife to pack and use for me. K390 with DLC for me would be the knife. But any carbon steel configuration would be kickass.

The FRN P4 is a step in the right direction, especially as the G10 version is very costly. However, as much as I like VG-10, that K390 is wonderful stuff. I hope they do come out with a LW in that steel. I'll be doing my part in bringing the K390 version to market by getting a VG-10 version as soon...

I picked backlock and cbbl. But I'm not as concerned with locking types. I'm happy with a liner lock. I got a variety of different knives and carry them. But this will be an interesting poll!

After seeing all this I am thinking about sending my P4 off to get cerakoted. Just the internal parts. Liners, backlock and what not. Is this a viable solution? I am not so interested in getting the blade done as patina does not bother me. But would definitely consider getting it done as well. And ...
