As a high wear resistance junkie, I've been less than impressed in that aspect on my lone 3V knife (fixed blade). Though I have recently knocked off a couple degrees to see how it does this time around. The toughness of 3V is certainly no joke though, and something that usually doesn't matter to me...

I have the luxury of living 10/12 minutes from work, I eat lunch at home four days a week. It’s very common for me to take one knife with me in the morning and switch out at lunch and carry a different knife in the afternoon.

Between the two you posted, for me….absolutely the Native!

Someone tell that new fella the best all-around steel is Cru-Wear so he can get to buying!
