Re: Paramilitary XL (Para 4) vs Military 2
Military 2. Stop Lock. Just like drawing in the Stop Lock patent of yesteryear.

Native. I like the older style more than the Native 5.
Chinook 1. I'd take a Chinook 2 or 3 too.
Renegade.

Re: Services in Canada?
I'd advise just learning how to use the Sharpmaker. I don't recommend the Edge Pro, it seemed like a poor design to me while I was using it. If it were my money I would get the KME, but I just use the SM and I don't see that changing anytime soon. Good luck! This is the best advise. You'd be surpri...

Re: Services in Canada?
https://houseofknives.ca/sharpening/ Not sure how professional the sharpening service is, but there it is. These guys used to have a store out here in Ontario back in the day, but now they are just out your way. I just use a sharpmaker myself. Definitely don’t take any knife you care about to house...

Re: Spyderco Retro?
Here is an easy retro sprint. Only the grind needs changing. I want a Native Chief with original sabre grind and Swedge. Fraden lock had an excellent hollow ground Manix 2. This is my number 1 wish for the Chief. Those retro style grinds are awesome. If possible, add the square jimping and a barrel...

Re: Native 5 with Compression Lock please!
Got the lil' native comp lock for Christmas. It's awesome. Eric did a great job with it, and the fit/finish is perfect to boot. I'd buy a comp lock native in a heartbeat now. Same hardwear (fasteners and wire clip).

SSSssssooooooo. Whaddayawant? sal Hi Sal! I have to say, I greatly appreciate your personal involvement in these matters. The people I work for seem to have absolutely no idea who the customer is, or even who their employees are, for that matter, so it is refreshing to be able to talk to the man hi...

Spyderco Retro?
Does anyone else regret not picking up old school Spyderco's when they were available? I deeply regret not picking up Chinook's 1-3 while they were available. I'm Canadian, and (not getting too political) those knives are basically impossible to get now, unless some other Canuck is willing to sell. ...

Re: Shaman Cru-Wear Sprint Run release ?
Well, the Canadian dealer had 30, and they were gone in a blink of an eye. I failed. I'm really bad at this game. Another sprint lost.
I wouldn't mind having a Cru-Wear Military. Just throwing that out there. I wouldn't mind a Military in CPM 10V either.

I like the jimping. I could probably live without it though. Would it lower the price point any if it were left out?

A slab-sided (non-fluted) titanium Military is pretty heavy.

Re: Tip down Chinook
I wish the Chinook 4 had tip down. It's my only complaint. I still bought two of them.
I'd love to see one with a Military-style curved clip in tip down. That's my favorite clip.
If there is a Chinook 5 in ten years, I vote for tip down, and made in Golden....

Re: Cruwear Micarta Native follow up to the Shaman??
Looks great. I hope Spyderco makes tons of them, and the Canadian dealers can get their hands on them, enough so us enthusiasts don't have to cut each others throats grabbing them up. Customs won't let me bring one into the country on my own.

Re: Spyderco Amsterdam Meet 2019 Report
Native Chief is looking good. Finally! If you want sprints, we'll have to support the initial CPM S30V black G10 model. Remember the Manix 2 backlock. That being said, if we're taking orders, I'd like one with the old style "swedge-grind" look, with the old square jimping, to match my old ...

Re: Any Spyderco Military sprint runs or exclusives coming out besides REX45?
Just gonna say, if anyone of importance happens to be listening, I would take two of the CPM 20CV coyote tan/brown versions if offered in the Military platform. I missed your PM2 version (which sold like lightning; anyone not online within the hour did not get one). Let me know. I'm good to go.

Contoured handles! These two knives compliment each other very well. https://i.imgur.com/WPrB7rI.jpg How do you like the Shaman? I've had mine for more than half a year and I still can't decide if I prefer the contoured scales. I think that all the years of handling flat Spydercos has me biassed, e...

Hi! I'm Canadian. Is it OK to send my Spyderco in for service now?
Hi. I was wondering. I bought a TI military (regular), non=-fluted) from KC when they were disco'd (not sure now if they are or not, they sell them regular now) and it does not have a good lockup. The blade and lock both can move when in the lock position. I was wondering; Is it OK now to send the t...

Is the border services donkey embargo over then? I see that Warriors and Wonders has the "Burl Ives" version of the Manix 2 available.
