Re: Maryland, Delaware, Virginia Knife Stores

Stopped by Willey Knives in Greenwood, Selaware this morning and wow, what a great selection! It was just what I was looking for. Friendly + knowledgeable staff, lots of made in USA knives, and very reasonable prices (especially ...

... and Blue Ridge all look to be within a 20-minute drive of one another over in that southwestern corner of VA, oddly enough. I think between Willey’s and Edgewood I’ll be able to pick up something reasonable (and have fun exploring their selections). SMKW is tempting, but a I think a bit ...

... then heading up to the Shenandoah. I wonder if anyone can recommend a good knife store in/around Baltimore or Delaware? A brief google shows Willey’s Knives in Greenwood, which we could probably stop at early in the trip. Then there’s Knife Center in Fredericksburg, but that would be a about ...

Anyone have experience with them? I do. Wasn't super blown away with the results, or suffice to say it just didn't turn out "factory ...

Re: P'kal as EDC?

... I've wondered over the years what a P'Kal in full Spyderedge would be like and it's one model I would be willing to pay money to have someone like Willey knives put serrations on one just to see how it would perform. But I can't even imagine what I would use a plain edged P'Kal model for. :beaming-face ...

I finally caved.

The holster isn't far behind!

Everytime I see that Ulize, I think about modifying my Resilience into a recurve and sending it to Willey Knives to make it full SE.

If you're frankenspydering it anyway, could you just buy the Lone Wolf and have Willey knives grind the serrations in?
Another option(and maybe easier?) is to just have them cut the wave opener into an existing serrated edge model.
I think he wants the Glock tool though.

That's not a bad idea I don't know why I didn't think of that, I'm planning on sending them a Sliverax too. Probably easier and cheaper.
