Re: Lamentations of the Discontinued
I always thought the back lock Manix would have been more popular. I remember ppl loved it and wanted sprint versions.

Re: New Police 4 and observations
I had to check my P4 after reading this and it seems ok as far as corrosion on the liners. I’ll keep a close eye on it tho. I was very surprised by how much I love the knife. It’s got plenty of blade and is a breeze to carry. The k390 is fun to use and sharpen.

Re: Spyderco Amalgam!
I love mine as well. The timing of closing it and getting your finger clear of the flipper tab quickly becomes second nature. ‘Light Switching’ the flipper tab rather than loading it is the way to go. Super smooth, almost drop shut action. The detent is light on all the ones I’ve handled. It is not ...

Re: AEB-L Urban sprint issue.
Thanks for the positive input. I was getting the idea that none of the K390 Urbans were worth looking for. FWIW, my K390 Urban is great. No issues whatsoever. I follow these forums daily and I'd never even heard there was some with issues until it was mentioned in this thread. Thanks. To be honest,...

Re: AEB-L Urban sprint issue.
I don't understand how and why this hypothetical " proud tip issue " started but people should be less ostentatious and more realistic and not try to create dark scenarios. We are talking a 65 $ little slipit here so... This! I was thinking the same, decided not to say it, but since you d...

Re: I am gravitating towards smaller knives
The Dragonfly was my first love with Spyderco. I have several others in the same size range and love how well Spyderco does smaller knives. I also love variety and love reaching for a Military or Endura some days.

Re: AEB-L Urban sprint issue.
This has turned out to be an informative thread. I was totally unaware of the K390 Urban issue before this discussion but was actively looking for one. Now I’m thinking it’s best to just avoid the sprint Urbans all together. I might be able to live with the aeb-l issue but the K390 sounds much worse.

Re: Why is the compression lock on my sage different from other comp locks?
I have had two and both where the same way. My second one was slightly easier to close one handed but only with a wrist flip motion, not a free dropper. There are several disassembly videos on YouTube. One side is a ‘D’ shaped non spinning screw, believe the side that loosens is the non clip side bu...
